Hey since I saw the zelda thread I have been thinking of what historic game series.should I post and now.the answer is clear. All about metriod, cause metriod is awesome.

Metroid is the best series for me! I loved all the metroid games I ever played. Except maybe the first one since it had no instructions on what you had to do, and maybe the gbc one. But other than that, it's the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah the whole thing is awesome my favorite metriod game is Other M. Great plot, nice few twists, and awesome gameplay

Imo, super metroid was by far the best. Metroid fusion being the most difficult, and I hate to say it but other m was rather disappointing and also got the worst reviews.

The first one (right shoulder)was when I was 21 and the other 2 when I was 23. I am 29 now and I did it because I am a fan.

Yes Super Metroid is still the best. I think I am prolly the only one who understood Other M. I liked it.

I understood it as well it was the time that took place before fusion and after super metriod. It also showed samus in-depth a little. I liked Other:M it was pretty cool, for me at least.

Loved all the games, they even brought out a collectors edition, Metroid Prime: Trilogy, where they re-vamped 1 n 2 to follow Other M.

TBH I think the best metroid was the DS version, Metroid Hunters.

the story was, well, cr@p, but the MULTIPLAYER WAS AWESOME. (until they hacked it to hell, but hey)
seriously, metroid + multiplayer could probably give nintendo the answer to give seriosu competition to the xbox first person shooter genre domination

Multi-player online games is where the 'monies' is at, its needed to survive in a world of COD and BF.. tho I've never played the Wii online :p

Hahaha you can play the original on the Wii via the store. Just look in the virtual console section.
