Cool free desktop image

Hey guys,

Was clearing out the family desktop computer over winter break, and I came across few desktop backgrounds my brother made on photoshop when he was just starting to get the hang of it. I asked if I could share one and he said that I could. This one looked the coolest to me out of the few he has...most of them are the same style lol. So if anyone likes the game Dead Space, you'll like this desktop. It's pretty basic editing I think but I know the original image is just a render of the guy.

It's set to 1400 x 960 I believe, the picture you see is just the forum resize. Don't know if that's a good or a bad thing lol.

Enjoy! If y'all like it I can see if he'll send me some recent ones (if he even made more) :D

Not bad, i'm sure he would be able to do it 100x better next round, photoshopers tend to even blow their minds sometimes.

Only thing I see is the image is a tad over sharpened, I'm impressed though.

Edit: Also some variety in the smoke brushing.

He doesn't use smoke brushes. I know this because I told him to make a smoke thing of my head one time cause I saw a picture of it online and he said smoke brushes are dumb. I think it's smudging.

Hmm interesting. I see a smudge on the right of the render and just looks like smoke brush on the left side. I usually smudge with hybrid smoke splatter brushes from gfxvoid.

Yeah I asked him, he said 100% smudge brushes and different layering/blending types.
