Looking for a expert mage to help in pvp

From the little pvp I have done, all my friends tell me I'm best with mage. I feel most comfortable with elf, so maybe that's it. Im looking for someone to mentor/practice with me. I would rather do my 50 shadow (Trinitylsx) but I do have a 65 half craft :s (Usakrevy) everyone who I try to practice with either get mad bc I win, or just keep saying go with out any tips or slaps on wrist. Not worried about my kdr... Thanks in advance.

What is are your stats build? Not your actual build, but how much you got in Dec, str, and into?

I have enough int for shadow set and rest in dex

Hmm, i don't think dex would be the best to go with. Try experimenting with str instead of dex.

Have, a little, and the hit% is horrible, maybe the mage crit and extra dodge (str) would make up for it?

Ok with the str and hit ring I can get my hit% good, maybe I looked at it different last time.....i wanted to do str thx for that info, that should help alot. I'm not horrible, have more kills than deaths, just feel like I'm not using right combos in different situations. Not calm enough to recover drain miss bc of repulse, mana shield timing, etc just need a couple people that could actually notice what I'm doing right and wrong when fighting.

If you're worried about birds, you need DEX. Str is only good for vs bears/warbirds. Dex gives a lot of damage, hit, crit and it makes Mage vs Mage, Bird vs Mage, and Dex Bear vs Mage easier.

What's your M/S?

I don't mind a 55, may make it easier for you since harder to kill. You could see when I damage and not. I get stuck fighting 55s most of the time anyways...

Edit: there aren't many 50s left it seems, and its not my style to bully. (fury destroys me)

If you stay 50 with that M/S, you can use this combo (vs Mage):
(Shield, BOM, BOV) Frostbite-drain-light-fire-heal.
(Vs bird)
Ice-drain-fire

Most of the time you need to adjust your combo for each person, though. And there's no real combo for bears. If they're dex, you can usually just safely do drain-light-fire and they'll die.

Don't start at any level lower then 30, or 40-59. Though 31-39 has a lot of... Annoying people. :)
