So a friend of mine and I share the same device but have different accounts, well, I did a platinum offer on my account but the platinum was paid out to his account I’m not sure why?

No idea what logic the offer providers use when multiple accounts use the same device - support may be able to help you if you contact them (and your friend hasn't spent the platinum already).
