Hugthulu and Hugthulu Prime have risen again and it's up to you to ensure that the spirit of love lives to see Valentine's Day!

This is an Energy/ Leaderboard event.

Energy Portals to Hugthulu's Realm are open in townes all across Arlor. Energy Essences drop from all dungeons across Arlor. You can also craft or purchase energy kits from other players. Excess Crafted Energy and Energy Essence will be removed after the event is over.

- Event NPC “Remmi Amor” has 3 quests to complete.
- There is a Special Hugthulu Prime quest granted once you reach Gold Tier
- There is a Crafting process for turning Endless Love Set into Tainted Love Set
- Octopus and Shoggoth pets passive and AA do double damage in the Lovecraft zone, and with the appropriate set (Any Endless or Tainted Love set for octopus pets, 76 Endless or Tainted Love set for Shoggoth) will deal that extra damage in all other zones, including PvP.
- Candy Letters of all types ONLY drop from the new event zone
- Love Letter can ONLY BE USED by Gold tier or higher players, but can be crafted and sold/traded by anyone

Everything looking good except two things. Firstly can we please have a different colored aura for level 76 endless sets ? We had the red one in 66 endless sets.. If the 76 tainted set is having a new colored aura then endless should have one too.. And secondly I was hoping for a different kind of gold tier banner rather than having a recolor of the last year.. Other than that, everything else looks exciting.. The vanities, lb rewards, bosses, pets etc are great. Looking forward to play it as it's one of my favorite events.. Love love !!

Last year devs said endless and tainted pieces are in a separate loot table, so luck doesn't affect those drops as there's no other rarity for triggering a re-roll

Not everyone have the time to play 24*7 like you and I don't think it's necessary for u either to reply to each and every comment. Everyone have their own opinion and I shared my opinion with the Devs. They follow it or not it's upto them. Why are u making it an argument ? It's only the 2nd day of the event and ppl start complayning..


Drop rate was same since the beginning, it's just people who buy it really fast from auction. My friend looted one and it was gone under 10 minutes. Rogues is the most popular class thus the gear demand is really high, higher than other classes. That's why it feels as there's "not many rogue items" and they're more expensive. Not sure if you know how it works but the forum is open for everyone. Everyone can anyone and say what they think. If you didn't like his comment you've just ignore it instead being so rude. Peace.

Ppl run for boss still, so lame of them. Even pugs can’t seem to enjoy running the map at a reasonable pace. It’s about the journey, not the destination. Clear the map, open the crates then bash the boss, but no, it’s all gogogogo and screw the next guy over.

This maze map design is crazy and the requirement to kill Merfkins before Hugu battle is a bit much. I would enjoy the event better if the love map was more of a straight shot opposed to a maze. We can still have the Merf requirement but, they will be along the way. Make this a straight path, the maze map is discouraging. More players would play if it were more straight forward rather than a maze, like winter event. Why not just a straight map like winter, more enemies, merfkins, and once done we are there?

The maze design is not making me want to play.

I totally agree that golden letters need to be tradable, I have 4 golden L, 11 golden O, 20 golden V and zero golden E. If you changed the 1 elusive letter for everyone everyday then it would balance out but I still am unable to get any E's and have way too many V's. If we could trade these then we could work it out instead of struggling to get all gold letters.

At Gold Tier and above, use a Love Letter (crafted from Parchment Paper and L-O-V-E candy letters) to summon Hugthulu Prime at his altar! Killing Hughtulu Prime gives you significantly more Tier points.

Additional Notes

- This event's Bane Item is called the Enthralled Talisman
- Keep an eye out for the “Merkfin” miniboss with special loot rewards
- Event NPC “Remmi Amor” has 3 quests to complete.
- There is a Special Hugthulu Prime quest granted once you reach Gold Tier
- There is a Crafting process for turning Endless Love Set into Tainted Love Set
- Octopus and Shoggoth pets passive and AA do double damage in the Lovecraft zone, and with the appropriate set (Any Endless or Tainted Love set for octopus pets, 76 Endless or Tainted Love set for Shoggoth) will deal that extra damage in all other zones, including PvP.
- Candy Letters of all types ONLY drop from the new event zone
- Love Letter can ONLY BE USED by Gold tier or higher players, but can be crafted and sold/traded by anyone

This maze map design is crazy and the requirement to kill Merfkins before Hugu battle is a bit much. I would enjoy the event better if the love map was more of a straight shot opposed to a maze. We can still have the Merf requirement but, they will be along the way. Make this a straight path, the maze map is discouraging. More players would play if it were more straight forward rather than a maze, like winter event. Why not just a straight map like winter, more enemies, merfkins, and once done we are there?

The maze design is not making me want to play.


I agree 100%. The Jarl event map made players kill mob before loot chests appear. It should be required to clear map before boss. Since all the craft mats dropped in event map only, it is difficult to farm them and reach the boss before pugs kill him.
