The story behind the skull and crossbones shields

Originally, these skull and crossbones shields were created for prize support for pvp. The intent was to set up a ladder for 5v5 CTF and do rolling tournaments every month with points adding to a team's standing on the ladder. The top ladder placers would get the winning shields with any team knocked off getting the previous winner shields.

That's why the shields have the text on them that they do. Looks like this is on hold for a bit till we can get some bugs sorted, but it would be cool to pull such a ladder off. In the meantime, I'm using these shields for for other things, like the 1v1 stuffs. That's the backstory behind them. We can probably color them for a few more variations (green ones, red ones, hmm maybe even a nice bright pink one lol!) for future fun.

Sam the shields are awesome... if we had two vanity spots we could wear them all the time!!! (first vanity spot would be visiable, second spot would be for fallen prince vanities for bonus).

Something people may not realize it organizing and hosting and getting support and participation for these events is a lot of work.
If you guys want a twink tournie, someone must take up the responisbility and effort to do so. As I am not a known twink, I am therefore not tied or familiar with that community.
It is not easy to be a dev or host these events as you have seen or may have noticed in this and previous events. But they are a lit of fun and well worth the effort. I spend a lot of my free time doing these things, talking in game, posting in forums, etc. it is highly enjoyable to me :)
