It wasn't that. I just finished crafting my Blacksmith's Beret of Smarts. When I closed the window, I saw that. He didn't re-enter town.

Hmm. K, I have seen it happen where I was & I watched a person leave & keep coming back before his old toon disappeared. Meybe more than one way to do...
