Since AL tolerates jokes in the community and making them a game content, such as the "Arcane Deary" if it is possible I it will be fun if they should consider the common joke that, "time to farm cannons again" when new gears are coming.

Would like to suggest to add rare chance on cannons when fired could give like 50k gold instead of 1 gold as a jackpot reward.

Firing cannon is a free act.
So,if anyone could fire it 10 times strike without dying once, it would give us 50k instead of 1 gold lol, also a new title

Just come into my thoughts that, if I were a bot-er, its not worth programming a ton of bots for 1 gold for every 2 seconds, I'd rather bot on elite dungeons and every mob may drop 10-20 gold also a chance for the epic gold chests.

So in my assumptions bot users will not bat an eye on it.

Ratio: If I bot cannons in kraag, let's say 5 gold every 2 seconds, compare to a bot of 5 rooms in elite dungeon, a chance of 20k-30k worth of chest, and a gold drops from barrels and mobs for let's say 3mins.

Bot-ing in 3mins

Cannons: 450 gold or less, in chance of death and bot will sure take time to get into its spot in cannons again around 200 gold in 3mins

Calculation: 3mins x 60 seconds= 180 ÷ 2 (time of cannon firing and waiting for 1 gold) = 90seconds(1 gold/second) x 5 bots = (-)450 gold/3mins (-)450 for chances of dying in backfire.

Elite Map: A barrel/map paraphernalia will drop, lets say 5-25gold
+ mobs drops 5-25 gold
+ the chance of common,rare, epic, legendary, also elite mythic body, and elite arcane soul that cost good gold too.
+ Cracked/damaged jewel drops.
+ the epic-chest that worth 20-30k.


Conclusion: In simple math and critical thinking, "Time is Gold" they say, bot-ting cannons, is not worth the hassle of programming and hacking the game and risk of being banned.

I just weigh the time and gold ratio, versus the same effort and risk to be exerted on doing this crime.

Time is irrelevant to a botter , and no one with much critical thinking cheats, generally.
But besides whether it gets botted I’d hate for ap points To be tied to such a goal. Could anything be more pointless as an “achievement”? Many didn’t want to make hc toons but then they made aps out of it and now many feel they have to to it just to keep up on lb.

There’s already like, 13 maps you need 10k mobs and 1k boss kills. Your idea is to bring “cookie clicker” into AL.

There’s already way too much pointless repetitive clicking. I want content not tedium.

Re-read the calculations I made, think it in this way, what was the reason for botting? To have leverage at something right? Which is the gold right? Is the cannon firing a better leverage to bot?

And speaking of critical thinking, if your kinda a programmer sure it is that you don't need critical thinking, but I doubt that STS security measures we're not tough enough to bypass so its impossible to not put a thinking on it.

The suggestion's intent is just for fun, it could be an Achievement without points or maybe with depends on devs thinking, if the players will like the funny title it will reward like you'll get pm-s how you managed yo get a cool title like what some said in this thread.

My point wasn’t just to share a couple thoughts, but to also put in the public record of the forums - “some aps are tedious “
