Introduction:
It has been a long time since I have started playing this game.
I joined around the first of June, 2010, and have played quite a bit since then.

I have seen players come and go.
I have seen so called veterans disappear.
I have seen great trolls, and great helpers.
I saw a time when developers talked to players directly.
Then I found the forum moderators.

I knew a time when every player knew the others.
When Haikus played, when King Richie was not his enemy.
When we would laugh as we viewed our nipple pictures, when that would still have been okay with the standards of Spacetime Studios.

I have played with veterans, new players, commendable ones, and complete idiots.
And from what I can gather, this community is nothing like the one it once was.
Sure, you can scream at me that the community always changes and to stop being a whining elitist.
But all I hear is, sellout.

So this is a big middle finger to the general begging, lying, impersonal populace.
This is the counter-culture movement.
I thought, hey if this is where we are going, then why not have a cult of my own?

So this is my satirical backlash at all that's wrong with the game.
It's my appreciation for all that's gone right, and my unending respect I have for the original developer team.
I thank you so much for this great opportunity.

This is the Cult of Personality of VulgarStrike.

It seems I should be more strict with leadership roles.

Other than that, keep going strong.

This community may not be as it used to, but there are still many that stay true to the game. Don't generalize us as a 'begging, lying, impersonal populace.' If you stood back a bit and changed your perspectives, you would know that sts has grown, quite a tremendous amount from when it originally started. Of course there will always be new players who do not know how the game works, what is considered 'right' why begging is frowned upon etc., but as a 'oldie'/'veteran' you should be the ones guiding them, not plainly dismising them as 'noobs' not bothering to help or inform them since they're not up to you par. I could tell from your recent posts in the forum, that was how you generally felt. From one word replies or just writing negative feedback. Seriously. Not everyone is great at what they do, but whos to say they can't if they try?
Is great that you're trying to do something to show your disapproval of the direction of the game. To be honest with you, I'm not a huge fan of the general direction of the games, but that doesn't stop me from enjoying the games (no where in the tos does it say we have to purchase plat to enjoy the game) or the community (which is what's keeping me here). One question though, how does creating this 'guild' do anything productive or show your dissaproval of the game? At least WhoisThis did something about it and wrote informative threads that explained clearly why he felt what he felt. He voiced out what everyone was afraid to say and he brought a lot of attention to both the devs and the community.
Other than that, all the best with your guild

I tried. For so long.

The issue is not the players that do not understand how the game works.
I have and always will be totally fine with players with no game experience.
I've always put in my best effort to teach those players for a long time.

The problem that I have lies in the innate immaturity of certain players that cannot be fixed over
A video game. I am sorry if I come off as haughty and dismissive, but I am sick and tired of the fiasco.

Now, I meet players who in exchange for receiving help or otherwise, proceed to complain that they have not received enough benefit. They are the epitome of spoiled brats working their way into the gaming experience.

People who after a pvp kill will say, lol NOOB.
People who kick you in a just level simply because "lol"

And what am I told to do?
I'm told by samhyane and others alike to suck it up and play private games with my friends.
This used to work, until they got sick and titd and quit.

The veterans quit.
BANNED, he's never coming back. He has less patience than even me.

However, I do understand the general forte of your argument and will attempt to play more, and let my name be known again, as someone who is less bitter and more involved...
Perhaps then I will be able to finally determine if some effort from myself should make a difference at all.

Thank you for your post, it did point out certain things that I fort to address.
