+ Open the portals to the Valley Frontier, the Valley Gates and the Greensap Farm as normal.
+ Choose [Elite] when interacting with any of these portals to enter the Elite version of the zone.
+ As with standard Vardan Valley areas, you can go Solo or with a party of friendly Legends.
+ Defeat monsters in Elite zones to advance towards all of the new Elite Vardan Valley Achievements. Check with "Record Keeper Renault" in the Guild Castle to see your progress!

There are not many arcane 76 weapons available. For a new player(s) who don't have a gold pile saved up, that are end game, this will feel almost un achievable.
Are there any plans for account bound lvl76 arc weapons obtained with vale tokens?
Will there be any updates for items to be purchased thru Goody Wells?

Everything looks good! Elite Death Engine Weps is a nice surprise. Can we have more info please on the advantages of Death Engine Weps v.s Elite Death Engine Weps?

Yes. Like any ingredient item. The awakes and jewels will be consumed when the item is consumed in the crafting process.Over power will much over power haha where's the balance, its better if you can add craftable death engine like you did in spirit weapons.

This should be reconsidered. A lot if peoole spend great deal of money during awakening event just to get great awakenings on the new arcane weapons, and If I recal correctly, that event was extended for the exact same reason.

New locked crates should at least have all the arcane weapons inside them, if not new arcane armor and helm as well.

I feel like the new arcane ring should have better stat boost, especially since lvl71 one is already great for all of the valley maps

As for the update itself, it looks amazing and I cant wait to play it. Vanities and badges look sick.

The recipe requires Legendary items specifically. Other item rarities (even if they are more rare) will not satisfy the crafting ingredient requirements.

For the trophies...are they going to have to be done one at a time to count for a trophy? Or can the kills for each combine for each one. I dont want to be working on both one and get jord done and then find out i have to go back and do Duggar 1k times again to complete the other trophy.

Good question! The Elite Trophy Achievements are for specific Elite Bosses only.
For example: you will not get credit towards 'Elite Jord' trophy Achievement if you destroy 'Elite Skull Dozer,' or 'Elite Dred Duggar.'

I hope for this elite maps (and normal) to have a better icon for the mythic valley set proc because knowing is better from guessing .
Imagine how difficult is to calculate the %boss damage and the %elite damage you make and for the sets proc damage you have to guess because with all the buffs you never know when it happens.

I don't think a Swamp Temple Team LB with more than 1 Tank Pt has ever made Top 10 LB(Correct me if I'm wrong). On top of that you act like the Tanks on Teams LB are bums to begin with. So what's your point?

Why so weak buff on the arc ring? Compare with other arcanes they have a lot better procs.. like valley arti 25%dmg/ myth set 2xdmg/ ebon armor etc .... +10all for only 5 sec is super weak.... Rather use swamp ring atleast it will stack str points infinitely...

1 class rules all now because the class only hear and aswer here is only a warior. Sory about that dev look at our duggar bow they nerf the damage sillently 1st month of release the proc damage is fix but now its a random damage like ebon

He has just put on elixers combined all procs and ultimate together (just stays for a few secounds) nothing that impressive coz all classes can get those stats now with new gear so ur wrong and warrs are just a little better coz of their rage ult so he is just making warrs unbalanced coz some ppl can’t get used to change (rogues were unbalanced for so long till now) no one said anything about it let them cry no need fake information

its the true stat of all arc weap 76 gear that proc+ulti+elix+buff+op pet...the stat that 100k++ is the bug that already fix earlier this yr...it is unbalance btween lvl 76 that had arc 76 vs none(op ebon full gear cant get near that)...n rip lvl below 76...bfore this,like arc 66 vs arc 71...although the arc 71 is better stat..but the gap is not tooo extremely wide...so,op lvl 66 arc still able to play in lvl 71 map with strugling n hardship...but now,especially in elite vardan,not everyone can play even they try harder...n with the esg gold loot nerf,gates gonna nerf soon too as elite one will drop gold...so,rich get richer(yes,they dserve it as they pay for it,but too much will cause unbalance of everything) n sts surely profit alot to kept al server...but after awhile,when many less spending money/free to play plyer give up...then,u will realised my saying here....

Power creep is getting insane. You are also on track to make it extremely difficult for any low-mid range player to earn anything in game. This update is going to widen the rich/poor discrepancy even more. Where do you expect average players to earn things? Players always had elite southern gates to fall back on to farm, now there will be nothing to fall back on.

If you dont have these broken procs to farm, you're screwed. Nothing to do endgame unless youre heavily geared. Given, we dont know how hard this elite map will be..but im guessing hard enough to make your average player not want to farm deaths/boredom. After that, what? Farm glinstone lol?

Always each class had it's strong points, rogues were for dps purely, mages were for crowds, and warriors were for Tanking mostly. I agree that this will make it harder for those non-scratch users, since most looking for scratch pt's. A lot of players are going to find it hard to enjoy the game if they cant afford the more expensive weapons. I will say I like what STS has done in elite Gates with not making it hard but op tuff ;p which makes for a more interesting pt make up to go deep. I would say 1war 2mag 1rog would be ideal.

3k of bosses for the vanity is almost impossible.. especially with maps where nobody plays like in skratch or at least nobody is going to kill the boss just gather materials.. without counting that the portals open every 4 or 5 days.. the difficulty of the maps seems to be fine, it must be difficult to kill in elite I think, but again these timers and bars to fill.. at least they should put 2 minutes in gates and a faster bar that is filled with buff as in cryostar.. I think no longer play with anyone anywhere anytime..

Having an elite alley gates with new lock drops & new APS seems to be a good motivation for OP players but i dont think it is necessary to nerf this hard the gold Loot on the normal gates. A 20%-30% less gold loot seems reasonable but 70%? Its like forcing players to buy the 76 arcane gears. An average player like me just starting to save gold to buy the scratch staff & after this update, looks like im gonna wait another year to be able to afford it. Seems fun isn't it?

Yes. It will be significantly dropped. Good gold loot has moved to the Elite maps.

It will be good if they move the better goldloot of normal gates in waves 20+ or create a mytic weap 76 that is good only in vardan and affordable or bound (can be purchased in npc) so even were average player we can do runs in elite gates. Many player are having trouble in making gold, by making the good gold drop only in elite will make it even harder. Thus only rich player can run elite gates efficiently.

Lol man tell me, in any MMO-RPG, since when is a "TANK" considered to deal damage even heavier than the actual offensive classes?

I'm not asking for a nerf this/that or what nots. What I'm trying to say is that the real essence of being a "tank" in the first place has gone missing. Warriors nowadays are nothing but new rogues with high HP and Armor.

The whole "DPS-frenzy" in this expansion is not leading to a class balance at all. Atleast give us Rogues/Mages something on-par with this renewed warrior abilities or otherwise, we are all pawn in a warrior's game.

New update is the kill of the game im have staff 76, ebon set armor, interred set and some good items and only can go to wave 15 is so much Hard. And upgrade items is really bad in staff 6.6 dps 1 str 1 dex 1 int 50 heal and 50 mana i think u Are kidding? The game come to te death -100000 for STS and Mods. Im dissapointed. Good way to kill the game.

i'm tired of playing on wave xD maps we already played a lot on gates to farm, then came the swamp temple, and now the same gates map but with 2 meaningless spiders (in an expansion of gnomes) and wave again xD the creativity is at an absurdly low level.. I miss the expansions that saw 5 maps with 5 different bosses.

If it were not so tragic, it would be laughable. Let’s look at some points:

- Normal Gates Gold drop nerfed (now average players can’t make gold)

- New arc weapons price 80M+ (most of the ppl will never get it), and the price is STS fault because the lock drops are INCREDIBLY LOW

- New Arcane Ring seems to be a joke, Buried Set or Swamp ring is infinitely better than +10 stats for some seconds.

- Desth Engine weapons are the biggest joke, I was thinking they’re going to get something like +25 main stat or better proc but oh my God...


The only good part is the badges and some APS (But good only for rich players), STS don’t care for average players (80% of the game), they only care about the plat buyers who want badges, aps, etc

The good thing about the update is that the gold loot was nerfed in the normal gates. I believe it's fine cos anyways the inflation was getting out of control with way too much gold loot in gates.. The bad thing is that the new elite maps are really hard unless someone is using all arcane 76 gears and op awakes.. Poor will become more poor and rich will be more richer which isn't a good sign for the game. 70% of the players ain't that rich to afford 76 arc gears.. What Sts can do now is to add gold loot in a map, where everyone of any level can play, doesn't matter if they have op gears or not. Or add some affordable 76 mythic weapons in goody's token shop..That way more players can play the new elite map with less difficulty.

1) Buff normal gates back up a bit so people stop complaining.
2) Then either add better item drops in elite or add items at goody that can be bought for elite valley tokens. Items can be bounded or not bounded. Up to devs.

That way people will still play elite map when they need/want the items. Even if it means to run 100+ times up to wave 10 and then remap for a chance of a good drop or collect enough tokens for an item purchase at goody. And people who need gold will run normal gates.

When you announced gold in vardan valley portals, it seemed that the game started to live again and is worth spending many hours grinding. I could see it on my friend list menu, how live it was during portals. Now you nerfed normal gates, just right after some players at least got decent gear to run with. Well, while nerfing amount of gold to the ESG level, you forgot at the same time that ESG was available 24/7. While portals run for 24h. A bit sad. I don't know if it's connected to the business model, etc. I though that if players becomes wealthier, then they're starting to invest in premium currency such as plats, because of higher rotation of virtual goods. Maybe I am wrong. Well I won't cry or anything. I farmed enough, but right now I will do it with a bit "disappointment" in mind. To be honest I though elite maps, would refer to good new original content, not just recolored, ultra difficult version of Valley Gates. It's easy to destroy something. Hard to repair, they say. Just my thoughts. :)

You really need to add stuff into this Elite Valley, if you want players to continue playing into this map. It's quite hard to switch to GL mode now since boss is tough and those 2 spiders. We cant really make enough gold out of it.

1) Bring out a map open for every Level, where Mobs scale on the Level of the players and everyone can farm Gold or nice items


2) Add an Item Rent system: (doesnt matter if its items of an dev or player) add a rent Fee to it Like 1h = 10k or something Like that and if the Player needs the item back that Has been rent, He can Just claim it Back and the Fee gets restored.

3) Make Drops of arcane death engine weapons in the locks Higher, 150m for clean death engine daggers aint reasonable

4) add a currency to Elite Valley Gates Like it Has been for lv 71 raid's in swamp.. With an vendor that trades Bound lv 76 arcanes/mythics/Set items

5) add More content to the marriage System since for now its only a visual Feature

6) bring back the livestreams in twitch

Before Gates closed last on 3/9/20. I ran Regular Gates & noticed that the drops were around 5k to 10k. So the pt ended up making it to around wave 50. So let's say 5,000 * 50 = 250,000 gl. I also noticed in Frontier drops were relative to my gl%.

Most players I know including myself loved Gates because of the anticipation of the gl you could earn when it opened. Now that Elite Gates is here & the gl has been nurfed. We act like STS can't or won't keep just it until they get it right.

A new lootable item for 1.5 times higher than the trade system can handle...
THIS is somewhat problematic.
However I feel the solution is not (necesserily) to increase drop rate, but somehow decrease the total gold in the system.
I mean like in real life: TAX.
Higher from the rich, lower from the poor.
In other games
- there is a gear amortization and mending cost.
- there is negative interest rate for the gold one has (every day/week 0.1-1% of the gold is decreased).
