Xbow has a 14m range I believe, and it is the longest ranged weapon available. I'm not sure if other weapons have the same range, but I know people pvp with xbows for the range advantage. Someone who is more familiar will be able to confirm.

I think you would need to speak with zaltiar, who made a guide explaining "ranges of weapons".

I thought xbow had 12 range. I could very likely be wrong though... I'm fairly sure that guns have the same range as xbow except for the snowball/duck which has range of a reg. bow.

For SL correct? Of you had the thread, you should have posted it because the only one I see is for SL which would be of no use.

I believe that the ranges are as follows:

Xbow: 13m (It's 1m more than any skills, and the skills with the most range like drain, frost etc are 12m).
Gun: 10m (I think)
Bow: 9m

All 50+ Autobows (and probably any lower ones) and at least the Cyber Blaster and Death Shotgun are 13m-ish, tested repeatedly. Like Ix said, they are slightly longer than the 12m skills.

The rest of the guns, I don't know for sure, but if they are less than 13m, they may be the same as the Recurves/Bows....which have a 10m-ish range. I have never tested vs any non-Death Shotgun 45-50 guns, so not sure how Recurves stack up against other blasters.

Not sure about the Duckfoot, I will test it later....Phys showed me his range test once.

Edit: Duckfoot has same range as Recurves/50+ bows...9-10ish meters. Lvl 50 HiTech Blaster of Fortune has same range as Cyber/Void Blaster...about 13m.

To test it yourself, back up while shooting. At a certain point, your toon stops shooting. Wait and watch it step forward. That is the range.

Lonearcher once said the range is how far the projectile flies before it disappers.
