Type: Single Elimination

Description:
Thanks to joining Conradins new 35 PvP twink guild, we have decided to create a new tournament. You said it, so we listened!

This is the Ancient Swamps PvP tournament! This is a one vs. one style tournament for levels 30-35 :) Keep on reading

Requirements for the Tournament:
1.) Keep it clean.
2.) You must be in the level range of 30-35.
3.) Any class is allowed in the tournament.
4.) Any gear is accepted in the tournament. Founders helms are not allowed but any ring type is allowed. (to balance it out)
5.) 32 participants may enter-- come in fast!
6.) Only one of your characters may join if you have more than one in character in the level range.
7.) Be competitive, but have fun :)
8.) There are no rules regarding running, or whatever. Do whatever it takes to win :)
9.) If both players agree to leaving the game after a fight to regenerate that's fine.

Rules of the Tournament:
1.) This is a 1 Vs. 1 tournament.
2.) You must coordinate a time with your opponent. Keep track of your matches in the bracket here:

3). Each game will be played at Forest Fight: Campaign Arenas! (3 vs. 3 Free for all map, but it's 1 vs. 1)
4.) The game must be locked-- agree on who will make the game/password.
5.) Each match is by winning best of 3. Winning one match to 10 results in winning one game.
6.) No ref is needed unless one or both players wish for one. I hope you are all winning to help out in this tournament :)
7.) After each separate GAME (not after the entire match), the winner must take a screen shot. The winning opponent must post BOTH games he/she won to this thread. Unless your losing opponent says he/she lost, the winner will not be advanced without the screen shots.
8.) In order to begin each separate fight, both players must say "Go". Allow both players to buff, if buffing is necessary.
9.) If any member leaves during a match, please report it to me. Unless there is a valid reason, the opponent that left during the match will be disqualified.
10.) Please follow these rules and be respectful to each other :)

How to Register Officially:
1.) To particiapte in the tournament you must register officially.
2.) To do so, first make sure you have a forum account.
3.) Next, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on "Join tournament". There will be a list of all members who have officially registered. USE THIS LINK TO JOIN:

4.) Once I start the tournament, (Yes, I determine when to start the tournament and the players are placed randomly in a bracket), your name will be automatically generated into the bracket.
5.) Try to leave your in game name and level below.
6.) It's best if you verify your entry if you report to me (not required, but recommended). Add: TwinkXghost & CosmicXghost.

I will gather up prizes once all 32 members enter. I will ask Samhayne, hopefully gathering up some cool rewards. What I'm thinking of doing:

1st place: a vanity item + 500 platinum
Runner Up: 250 platinum
Semi finalists: 100 platinum

Winning a match means beating your opponent best two out of three.

For example if I'm playing my lovely friend steve here, I'll play one game up to ten. If I win that match then we play again. He wins the next match, so we have to play once more. We play the third game and I win, so i've won best 2 out of 3 games so I'll advance.

Not that I am against it but by increasing the number of participants, you either have to have 64 people join to keep the brackets even or there will be individuals who have first round byes which could cause an issue. Honestly, I actually think we could get 64 if tried, a lot of good pvpers within this range.

I know Ghost has already said this, but guys, calm down. These tourneys take time. You have people in various time zones with varying lifestyles. You cannot expect everyone in the tourney to be logged in 24 hours a day. I am positive the proper measures will be taken when the time comes. In the meantime, ise the extra time to relax, practice, sleep, watch a movie, go horseback riding, swim with dolphins, figure out who shot J.R. (lol), learn to play a harmonica, be grateful you aren't neighbors with the family in Deliverence.....

Swim... if the match did not "start", meaning there was no score, then I m not seeing what the problem is. Again, Ghost has said there is NO rush on the matches. Blitz is a respected player , as are you, and the issue has been explained. Play him when you can and relax. Too much stress over a game.

Remember guys, this tourney is not gonna be completed in two days. Some of the other tourneys took WEEKS to finish. Be patient and have fun.

The best one in terms of being executed quickly w the least amount of issues was the bird and bear tournies. I say the bird more so bc there were no zero byes or no one got subbed in/out, every match got played. It was completed quickly despite the fact Mt Fang came out in the finals.

The best one in terms of being executed quickly w the least amount of issues was the bird and bear tournies. I say the bird more so bc there were no zero byes or no one got subbed in/out, every match got played. It was completed quickly despite the fact Mt Fang came out in the finals.

If any player leaves during a match AFTER first round, the opponent facing the player that left will advance by default.

Everyone that is in this match is a good player, mkst have awsome sportsman ship and many are fighting good friends, somtimes the losses just say "i had it in me to stand against some of the best" this was fun :) my first tourney and i enjoyed the matches practice makes perfect who knows who one can beat in the future :) and one may not, its not the end of the world. It's not that it's unfair, it just people didn't realize they had to be committed which is frustrating. I can try to look for new members, but lots of people at 35 I talk to in game don't have an account and are apparently "too lazy" to make one or "incapable of doing so". Swim; if you can help find a couple 35 members that would be great.
