As asommers mentioned we are retroactively granting the Veteran Rewards based on the age of your account. You can view the date that your account was created on your Purchase History, available ingame via the My Account page of the Spacetime Nexus.

So for pre-existing accounts:

If your account was created before July 20th 2011 then you receive the Veteran’s Helm, Chestplate, and Shield
If your account was created between July 20th 2011 and October 20th 2011 then you receive the Veteran’s Helm and Chestplate
If your account was created between October 20th 2011 and December 20th 2011 then you receive the Veteran’s Helm.
If you don't meet those criteria then don't worry! You will be granted the appropriate rewards as your account reaches the 1 month, 3 month, and 6 month ages.

Rittik asked if an account has to be "active" to receive the rewards. Nope! Just login the account and you will be granted the appropriate rewards.

I think it should have been 3 months for helm, 6 for shield and then a year for armour. At the moment everybody looks exactly the same, because the items are so easy to get. No, I haven't played for a year, so it's not just me saying I want em and nobody else should get em, I just believe it should be harder to get em so people will look slightly different.

But I'm complaining about a completely free vanity set, so I'm a bit of an idiot really xD

Everybody looks the same right now because the items are new to everyone and they were granted retroactively. That will taper off in time!

Did you guys read my mind or something to exploit my love for Roman armory?! GET OUT OF MY HEAD!

These vanities are friggin EPIC, they were definitely worth the wait.

I have noticed 2 cosmetic issues with them tho. Mages are bald again. And this is more of my opinion, the shield looks oddly high for a Roman Centurion shield, any chance of it getting lowered?

As designed. It's tied up in a bun underneath the helm to keep it out of battle =)
We tried leaving the hair visible but it stuck through the helmet in several places, looked a bit awkward.
