Dear devs,

Long ago when AO1 was the highest level campaign, people were rushing map 5. They would run straight to Anubis, kill him, and remake. In response, the drop rates for all of AO1 were lowered to impossible numbers. They would also enter Sandstorm, turn a hard right, and only take out the Djinni, then remake.

But one day one of the core four devs actually got to see the result of rushing with his own eyes. That day was the beginning of the end for the rush farmers. Before long, all bosses above level 35 would not spawn until a specific number of mobs remained.

But the AO1 drop rates were never restored to their former glory.

And through the entire time when level 40 items were boosters for dual-specs, the maps still had incredibly low drop rates. But boosters don't work now, either, since items are based on base stat now, not boosted stat.

So now, why are the drop rates in AO1 still suppressed? Anubis can't spawn until you clear at least half the mobs, boosters are no longer used, and AO1 is not farmed for anything.

I hope things have changed now so that the drop rates of AO1 can be the same as for the other main spine maps. thanks.

Thanks for pointing this out Snake. We'll see if we can figure out what the problem is.
