Third Legends Title Is Major Evolution in Casual and Avid Gameplay
Spacetime Studios takes its mobile and desktop Legends franchise into a frightening new world with Dark Legends (http://darklegends.com). Players will embrace the secret societies of vampires to challenge the hordes of undead, werewolves, demons and humans that hunt them. The title will be released for Android, iOS and Chrome in the first quarter of 2012.

Fans of the popular Legends franchise, Pocket Legends (http://pocketlegends.com) and Star Legends (http://starlegends.com), will discover a gameplay evolution in Dark Legends that draws them even deeper into the experience. The combat system delivers fast paced, action oriented gameplay that includes new mechanics such as charge attacks and the ability to drain enemies. A wide breadth of solo and multiplayer content will also be available.

The most significant change is a much deeper focus on narrative. In addition to story communicated during the 3D multiplayer missions, players will periodically be given the option to complete quick action missions with a single tap. These missions use brief cut scenes to create an interactive storybook, where players experience the life of a vampire up-close and personal.

The company’s goal for Dark Legends is to combine casual, strategic advancement content with their award winning real-time 3D multiplayer system to create a blend of gameplay never before seen.

Dark Legends opens with the player recently raised and under the direction of the vampire that sired them. At the end of the day, the game is being designed for mobile. While we will bring it to desktops, we're likely to focus on a mobile beta. Again, no guarantees as to how the beta will shape up.

It's not about who's turn it is to get the game first, it's about Apple's very annoying and very overly strict guidelines to what apps get approved. They won't allow a beta app into the app store, they won't allow apps with to much "adult" content, they won't allow apps with to much gore, and they won't allow apps with something they don't like (over exaggeration). No, sir, iOS will not be getting this app until it's finalized and submitted to Apple, and even when that happens, it might take a while to be accepted, if it is at all.

No one said iOS won't get it, the problem is just within Apple's "acceptance" process for apps. This one 'Might' not be within them, but that goes for all apps submitted. It's their right to reject them, isn't it?
