I quite like the set, and historically speaking it matches armor from the period it is modeled after. Roman legionnaires and centurions did not wear shoulder spikes.

We got a free set guys, don't complain about it.

Given that the armor isn't universally hated, I think it would be a better use of the Art Team's time to make more new stuff, rather that revisiting and editing stuff.
