Can you no longer get big good drops from esg boss? Where can I go to farm gold ?

You can farm gold in elite valley portals or in deep marsh now.

I think STS nerfed the gold drops in ESG a while back since now that I tried there, gold was not significantly as high as before when the cap was 61. People nowadays farm in vardan valley gates and in deep marsh now. Though I must say I do miss running ESG cause it's quicker to run than deep marsh, although drops in gates are still op and is based on waves not map running.

It has been removed few months ago because it's an outdated map and people were running it with their eyes closed and was earning lots of gold with zero difficulty, while the new maps were left empty.

@Phup there are a few places you can go. But the best places are end game Valley maps atm. But this is a rough draft.
#1 EVG = Elite Valley Gates
#2 DM or Deep = Deep Marsh
#3 M5 & M6 = Museum Floor 5 & 6

I prefer to run deep marsh more than elite/normal valley gate. Wave challenge is not fun for me.

Sts nerfed because of the endgame items, it would be easier for endgame items to plowthrough esg with no problem, so yeah

EVG (Elite Valley Gates) imo is a bit hard, but for instance normal valley gates works well enough, so does deep marsh.
You may also try your luck in Infested Swamp, looking an ebon armor.
Finally, cryostar normal and elite is a decent place to farm golds and items.
