Go with rogue it's ideally what people in a party want for fast runs, notably if you have 76 arc weapons. But for vardan gates mages are faster at clearing mobs and since it is time-bound round system, then it will be slightly better for mages there. But for dm go with the rogue since it's mainly bosses you're after...

I would suggest mage, skratch staff is soooooooo good in mobs, proc it on boss too and you can shred almost 1/4 health of any DM boss

I agree but I guess working your way up would be the best choice. For example, use legendary items to farm these maps until you get enough money to buy a gold loot pet. Then after getting a decent gold loot pet, work your way into getting items awakened with gold loot. After that, try saving up to get the weapon first and eventually everything else and before you know it, you got everything you need :) The in-game events can also help you save up money so doing those would be a great bonus too
