Pocket legends T-shirt design Competition

so i was thinking it would be cool idea for a competition, because the developers are going to start advertising hardcore once 1.3 comes out, i was hoping that eventually they will have T-shirts available to buy and most video game merchandise is pretty boring, mostly everything just has the symbol of the video game and thats it.

i will judge this competition and try and get the devs to judge also, im not quite sure what the prize will be yet, maybe if the devs are down with the idea they might give the winner a free shirt or sumthin...

anyways if you would like to submit a design you could draw it by hand or get a image of a plain shirt and use a program like photoshop to edit it.

feel free to use any symbols such as the pocket legends logo e.t.c (i dont see the harm if your not making a profit from it)

i look forward to seeing some cool designs.

IMPORTANT: the design can be either on the front or back of the shirt, not both sides... (cheaper to print shirts if the devs decide to)

Good idea. There's something really neat about the design of the animations, maybe tongue-in-cheek? that would look good on tshirts.

Idk, i was thinking in the middle maybe it has the pl shield with pl on the shield and has the 3 classes mage warrior and archer in the middle and them doing the wave emote and the par-tay emote around them and on the back it saying Spacetime Studios

How about, on the front, where some shirts have a fox, you put a squished birdie with the word "Rez" in a grey box over his head. Or maybe he can be saying "Dead Eye pwns me."

If you don't mind me asking, what did you use to make the images?

Very simple programs. I've done lots of t-shirt designs using only GIMP and Picnik.com. Easiest and quickest way to go. Those are just blanket jpegs, if you guys were interested in using those designs I'm sure yall could redo them better (I could as well if I really wanted to make the shirts) this was just a quick throw-together for an idea of what it would look like. Also open to any suggestions.

The writing on the first shirt is nice but It would be nice to have the "Not Born" line right under the shield instead of awkwardly split by the shield. I'm sure the split could be made much better if you cared enough but I think it would look better all together below the shield.

Thanks for the feedback. I really liked the saying and was struggling on where to put it. I think the sheild split is cool, but maybe I could move it towards the bottom and have it masking as if the text is going behind the shield itself. I didn't find it looked very good directly under it. I'm a stagger person too, and since I did this rather quick the text is all straight and not somewhat staggered doing each individual letter.

Violentsaint said only 1 side. I normally would have done something generic like that because it's plain, simple, yet looks good.

This is a very cool idea.

a tshirt has got to be/look comfortable first (not a billboard with too large an image) then the design has to be well chosen so it looks "designer" or unique print retro etc etc ; )

EG Taking the Archer/Eagle model and imposing a 8cm tall version on the front - makes the tshirt more wearable and even room for a few words eg Spacetime Studios using a suitable font for the archer colors. Understated but does the trick, maybe?

I'll make another one later on that just has the sheild logo small in the chest area where most logo's go, I'll make one for a t-shirt, a polo, and a baseball tee. I'll also include the back with the text "Legends are made, not born" on the t-shirt and baseball.

Sorry for the suckiness, but you get the idea. Have like a image of a man ripping open a shirt a la superman style on it, but instead of the superman logo have the pocket legends logo. :)

If you've seen the Volcom shirt with the Volcom logo instead of the superman logo, you know what I mean.

wow im really liking some of the tshirt designs, i really like the spacetime studios shirt that dream made, also like how formal kavanah shirt is, verry fancy indeed. also flaimdudes tshirt is hilarious and i think its an awesome idea.

i just read the pocket legends :adventures thing of the websites main page, it looks amazing, and im sure the devs would be interested in selling shirts after that release :)

the grey smoke effect is exposed to be all over the back but I did this on my touch so beggars can't be choosers.
