Platinum Tier

I've been reading the comments on the main goblin thread 2020 with many folks saying that it is nearly impossible to hit platinum as a non-endgame player. I was wondering if it true or those people are just exaggerating facts. I think I'm properly playing Goblin for the first time after the event where we got [Plague Doctor] as a title. So basically can a non-endgame make to platinum with the same effort as an endgame player? If not how much more effort do you reckon it would take?

Goblin Mother gives most points.. and its designed for endgame. Without altar runs you need to grind way more ofc.

This is one of the easiest events to hit plat tier in.

It's not hard last 2yrs when I started Al, I reached gold tier in three days, then used the lix to farm binding stones, crafted altar relics and pt 3more and straight play tier, which was 4k pts
