1-4.) Neither of these things ruined the economy. Goldloot along with gold maps did.

5-9.) There were some things that were lacking, aswell as poor decisions made by Devs along the years. But every year brought something new (mostly recolored).

11.) Players with the most plat and connections sums it up.
12.) Yes. But Top11-25 aren't.
13.) Difficulty is scaled to level, so no.

And forward.1: NO Eggzavier is a positive event in my opinion. Helps a lot of people acquiring pets, everyone can profit as well.

2; Absolutely not, only people saying it ruined the economy are players that hoarded those awakening gems, so they don't want an awakening event anytime soon, and in return sell those gems for higher.

Coming from someone whos been around since the start~

3. It's one of the best gold sinks we have, so no.

5/6/. Hard to answer, i was alot younger and new to gaming, back then this game was what kept me up late nights without getting me bored in the slightest, these questions are hard to answer as everyone experienced the old days differently.

11. To a certain extend yes, but in reality leaderboards are meant for the absolute elite and most experienced players. Leaderboards mainly reward vanity items not necessary to progress, making it a bit obsolete for people to whine about not being able to run it from my perspective
12. Percieved by the player running it, some rewards appeal to certain people, once again a very hard question to individually and generally answer.
13. No, not everyone has the time to grind these leaderboards always, making the platinum tiers relatively easy to get is more fair for the game in general, and people who have other activities on the side.
14. Nyes, there is alot to do but the things IN the game are mainly monotonous and boring, bringing back the concept of the old jarl locked watch farm would be such a nice twist to farming, in comparison to the toxic gates maps.
15. Also hard to answer, its not easy to create new and original ideas, my tip to the design team is to put more design options and suggestions in the community's hands like they did goblin event last year, the submissions were amazing to say the least and take a burden off of the devs team.
Theres too much recoloring these days, it makes the game seem cheap and events rushed.

How can one live towards the future if they don't know what the future holds for them? It's foolish and childish to ignore the past. but I guess that's just my opinion. The reason I made this thread is because I feel most player's in the community have similar feelings towards certain events and system's in the game based on whether they're more experienced or newer to the game. I feel like for new players, certain game mechanics hard to learn or understand, and leveling up to the point where you can actually make decent XP from dailies is difficult. And exactly why should only STS be able to make polls like this?

Devs got the game set up nice, and events are put in order well. If there is one problem, its the Stronger/Rich player base. A majority of them are not very helpful to these newer players.

If the community put more effort into helping these guys, the game would prosper more. Help New players, teach them. Give them gold, sit there with hundreds of millions and greedy? Kinda disheartening to newer players that are actually trying to get lvl cap and enjoy the game...and these maxxed out players wont help.

THAT is the major/only problem with the game, and the only people that can fix that is us.

Maybe the response was a touch harsh but he does have a point. The goal of a poll is to gather data which will allow you to make changes or adjustments. However, the data is useless if you can't do anything with it.

If you keep looking back you'll never move forward.
