Yep, it's absolutely true. They're (spoiler!) gonna add an even rarer class than pinks (idk the color), and so pink prices are gonna plummet and the stats are gonna suck. :)

I just bought like a lot lol for 45 so idk maybe it will help when 1.3 comes i can use it to lvl ): bought Desert shadowstaff of thoth dreamers imhoteep eye dreamers khafra cloth dreamers khafra helm ): like 60k in all

Having only bought one item since hitting 45, and looting a few more keepers, I still have a few pieces of pink Lvl 40 gear that I'll swap into for certain situations. Heck, I think I'm wearing my Thoth lvl 40 armor most of the time -- having no other higher Thoth at this point -- I used my Level 40 thoth sword through most of 40-44....

So you still gotta level from 45-50 and gear will be needed for that, but sure, prices should adjust somewhat.
