Is boosting like against tos? There is a player by the name Abaquloz that’s been sitting in a locked ctf for like 48 hrs+ straight i kid u not, i sign in and always see this two player locked ctf game, he has around 120k+ ctf kills now and i’m pretty sure he did not even have 10k+ to start, about to become top 5 for ctf kills on Lb? Like is this even allowed?!?

There is nothing in the ToS that explicitly prohibits boosting.

But there is this:

"You represent, warrant and agree that you will not engage in conduct or communication (written, verbal, or nonverbal) yourself, or by or through your avatar, which:

- encourages or constitutes behavior that does not support a safe and comfortable environment for all users, including but not limited to bullying, vigilantism, engaging in any conduct or activity that is threatening, harmful, harassing, abusive, vulgar, hateful, defamatory, lewd, sexually provocative, suggestive, or explicit, inflammatory, profane, racially or ethnically objectionable, religious or political, or in any manner encourages inappropriate, disrespectful, abusive, or unlawful conduct or otherwise makes the Software Product an uncomfortable experience for anyone;
- restrict or inhibit any other user from using and enjoying the Game;

We may, at our sole discretion, immediately suspend or terminate your access to the Software Product should your conduct, in our sole determination, fail to conform with these Terms"


People were banned for 1-7 days for teaming, spawn killing and sitting to make uneven teams during the guild CTF event. Surely there is a possibility that the Devs interpret the ToS in a way, that views boosting as a violation against the ToS.


Potentially more incriminating is this, because you've probably been online with another account/friend, that facilitates your botting for 24 hours straight and more. :

Are they? I, personally, don't mind rushing, as long as it's 1v1. Usually. Teaming and spawn killing I have an issue with, because you can't possibly fight back. Most people don't like any of it. You are safer, if you say "go" or "FFA" or "All in", before the fight.

Boosting is frowned upon, because most people measure skill at PvP with their kdrs, which they have actually worked on for days, months and years to acquire. And you come charging in on the LB by killing/botting an afk target for days. Of course they will be upset. It makes their work meaningless. (kdr means nothing imo and is at most an indication to skill, but beside the point)

That aside. What I'm saying is, is that some parts of the ToS are worded in general terms, so they can ban you whenever they deem you to be in violation of the ToS.

boosting is not luck. it's unfair. if you don't want to get teamed don't help rushers in 2x1 etc. don't rush using an "op" class. don't get mad if you cannot play fair. simple as that

Everyone's talking about boosting but shouldn't we be focused on the whole 150k kills in 5 days, 10k kills daily, ordeal? The character is on from the beginning of the morning til the next. That's definitely not humanly possible unless this guy is a literal vampire.

Stats are meaningless anymore in PL. There’s a whole lot of boosting stats going on everyday.
