I am going to guess that his name is pornography, I have seen a few, *cough*hornypedobear*cough*cool@$$*cough*coolarse* cough* but I don't report them myself.

Well first. You cannot see the full name so how can we judge?Second, pornography is not a 'bad' word, so i don't think its worth reporting. Third I think it's more about their words and behavior since i don't think you could put a direct swear word in your username. If they act outside of good behavior and respect then report, if the name is obvious, report them but outside of that just try to ignore em I guess.

pornography, whilst as a subject maybe offensive to some, it is not considered an offensive word. I'll generally report really offensive names and offensive, rude language and behaviour, particularly if spammed and they have not stopped when asked politly to. (not that fussed if a singular is accidently slipped out whilst in a dungeon thou)

I think Pornography is worth reporting. Especially since we have so many kids playing this game as well. The important thing to remember is that the dev's will ultimately decide if its worth changing. Better safe than sorry. The main point of the thread though is that we should take it upon ourselves to report names that are questionable to keep this game family friendly.

So, he's the guy that took my other name choice. I tried Porno, Pornography, Sexual, Erotic, etc. All taken.

And no, I don't believe it's a reportable name. It's a form of media. It's not an insult, and I sure hope nobody finds that word offensive. If they do, the Internet isn't really the right place for them to be in.

Banned I could nearly write a book about the negative affects of pornography. It's a serious problem in our world. I don't think anyone should be able to name themselves anything regarding sex, drugs, or the like. (I even asked dev's to change my name because I didn't want it to look political)

There are also plenty of filters for iphones and ipods that parents can put on their children's devices to keep the internet a safe place for them. It's like going into town and spamming the word "pornography". I just don't think the devs would allow that.

We want this game to remain family-friendly, and will jealously guard the safety of the people that play it.

Our forum rules (http://www.spacetimestudios.com/showthread.php?27-Message-Forum-Rules)(which are equivalent to our in-game rules) state: "Immediate suspension or bans from the forum can result from any of the following: the posting of pornography; discriminatory remarks which are sexually explicit, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive; excessive obscene or vulgar language; posts which discuss or illustrate illegal activity; providing links to sites that contain any of the aforementioned."

In some cases we will just change the names, but if some are extremely offensive we will just ban those folks from the game.

So please report names you find offensive to support(at)spacetimestudios.com, and thank you very much for you help in keeping Pocket Legends a safe place for everyone.

1) Pornography, a serious problem in our world? Maybe, but the same can also be said about video games/MMOs. ;)

2) As a parent, you should know that the moment you allow your child onto the Internet, there is the possibility of interaction with other people. People that may not be children or parents themselves, and just don't care about taking away the innocence of some random kid on the web.

It's the parents fault, and no one else should be held responsible.

My kids play PL and use the Internet, however I've explained to them how to be safe on the net, I have logging and filtering software for them. They also know how to SS stuff in PL

It's my responsibility as a parent to educate and protect my child, sadly everyday I see parents who should never have been allowed bring children into the world.

Definitely worth banning. Even if he never did it again, I wouldn't want to be playing alongside someone with those kind of views (even if they are joking) Pl deserves a better community then that.
