is this right? Regarding Victory lap

Hey guys, was running Victory lap and close encounters earlier and something I noticed was in Victory lap. If you go the top right portal. (right of centre portal), and run it through until a portal at the end, it takes you to the portal square area where you started? Is it meant to take you there? Wasn't it taking you to a boss?

No that portal is for leaving that sector after killing that boss, then u choose another portal to go through
