View Full Version : Guide: How to do this secret thing!

I discovered this magical secret by accident then tested several times to find the exact pattern. Now I present how to reach the 'old' Forest Haven campaign!
Obviously the key is in the Shadow Caves (I always knew that place was full of secrets). In the fifth cave (it doesnt matter how you get there) you must clear the whole cave and my dear friend mr Vyxnaar must be there. Save him as the last kill, get him down to almost dead, and the final blow must be made by a mega combo (any of the three works). BUT heres the catch!-everyone in the party must be wearing a vyxnaar helm when he dies (again any of these three will work). Then with a flash of smoke, light, and mirrors(not really) a magical portal appears entitled the 'Anti-Shadow Portal'. Stepping through it, you will find yourself in the ancient FH1 map with the infinitely spawning zombies. Totally worth the difficulty IMO. Enjoy!

I did this with some friends, it was a lot of fun. Definitely will keep you entertained until the next level cap ;-)

Agreed its against the TOS, and do ya mean the fh with the castle bank or the very first one where it was just a circle (or maybe i imagined that)

Well... Sounds um interesting I'd give it a 10% chance of working... Might try it>.> but why would the devs do it only for str people? That means DEX and int players are left out... Not likely

This sounds awesome...I would try but i dont wanna waste money on a vyxnaar helm :P

It has to be real. He's an ambassador of alterra. Telling lies and spreading rumors is against the pledge they take. Why would he risk being kicked out of that club over something so juvenille as making up stories?

You sure this isnt a pic from when the game was barely out? Sorry for the lack of trust, just don't know if the devs would do this. It seems like another one of those 2H Weapon We Can Never Speak Of pranks.

It's important to believe everything! Nobody ever kids anyone. And while you're at it, trust the government. Fast food is good for you.
Behind me in that pic you can see Staffed. He has a Voodoo Doll* and Desert Robes. Then look over at PvpLegend. Hmmm... more desert robes. With some detective work you can figure out their approximate levels. The only times those two were under the level cap was during the first day of a new board. They have been running in Plasma Pyramid! Forest Haven town had brown dirt. The hoods tell you everything. Come on, let's do some Sherlocking and not take things so seriously! :p
* = I think it's a voodoo doll. I've never had one. He only equipped it when hanging out in FH town, probably switching to a Kite Shield for actual farming.
p.s. Can you say Stat-based Skills? That is probably what was on these players' minds that day, or else a chance for a PL Shield from the upcoming screenshot contest. Maybe they took screenshots in Plasma while they were hunting the elusive Shocklance.

Thats totally what it felt like when i found the portal, lol jk but it was pretty amazing
As i said it could be either of 2 25vyx helms or the 50 one
And whats with the doubt? Its not like i said u have to gravity hammer the vyxnaar of the map with a bronxbomber(Yes I said it) and you dont even need a member of the oyster class in ur party
