Heya Community!
I have been hearing an obnoxious bunch of messages in-game asking when the famous Valentines Event will happen and if it will happen at all. I am almost positive there will be some sort of event, but I would like to know guesstimates (wow, I spelled guesstimates wrong and my computer corrected me. I didn't even know it was a word...) or if anyone had any information on when the event will take place/be released?

There wasn't an "event" last year if i remember correctly. Just the big love vanity.

As Elyseon said. There was the Big Love Vanity that gave little love (kind of an event thing), and a lot of platinum items :D

Wave at someone wearing it to get the little luck (single heart) vanity helmet. That effect is only active during the valentines day "event".
It should just be the same thing as last year, WE.
It'll be my first Valentine with PL and SL and I can't wait!!!

I'm more curious about what sl's getting lol. Even though I don't play it, I'll be celebrating vday there.

same, looking forward to it, gonna keep using "blow kisses" and will get the vanity if i can.

Big Love will be making a return to the store (along with waving to get Little Love). We will also have a series of love-themed items available on the Deal of the Day leading up to Valentine's Day. This should be happening in both Pocket Legends and Star Legends.

The items will be in the store, but with the exception of getting a "little love" for free if you wave to someone with "Big Love".

And I believe all the Little Love (and later Little Luck) hats that were given out, disappeared at the end of the event.
There was an emote pack added last year close to this time that included Kiss, which we all still have access to 365 days a year. I also suggest Propose, Hug, and Give Valentine, but they didn't make the VD emote pack. :(

If I could plead for one thing this year, please make Big Love do something. Give us 1 M/s, for instance. That way it can have life beyond the Valentine's event.

Little luck and little love remained in your inventory after the event, making them even rarer than the snowman head, big luck, big love, red/purple antennae, etc.
I know cause I still have mine, lol

Did you clear out the vanity side of your inventory when deleting one of your alts during one of your 'new characters' building sessions. I got mine.
for the deal of the day can you make the items lvl 10 this time so everyone can use it? Because some people don't have 50's, and most holidays on higher levels are useless, PLUS more sales :D
This.
At level 50, the holiday items can essentially only be used as vanities anyways. Lower levels actually get some combative use out of them

I'm thinking, apart from just a vanity, there should be some kind of valentine themed quest available for that day.
E.g) (some kind of Romeo and juilet themed quest) Where you have to go around searching for Romeo(could be a class, maybe a bird/human) then he would ask you to go find Juliet and pass on the 'medicine' with a message. Basically following the original story line.
Obviously at the end, they both would die, not sure if its suitable for the game, but would be great for valentines day :)

It would be kind of nice if the Valentine vanities were tradable so you could actually *give* a valentine to somebody.

Sigh.... The issue with deal of the day vs the way they used to do these in the plat store is... They offer lvl 50 and up items on deal of the day not for the lower lvls .. I hope they bring the packs or purchase in store option.. Deal of the day is for upper lvls and there are many lower lvs

If they are lvl 10 I will purchase If they are higher lvl I will have to pass. I have spent a fortune on lvl 50 items that I have never even used one time so I am just spending money to clog up my inventory......just my 2 cents <(^_^)>v

Correct. The giving of little love ends after the event is over.
I would hope that they could change the looks of the rose wand at least. :(

No no no! On last Valentines Day, items were all levels. We are just saying that we don't want them to bring back level 50 items as DotD because that's what they did at Christmas :/

o ok :D i was worried when i heard this because after looking at yanis's trader guide i saw that all the valentine items were lv 50 :) yay now im very relieved.
P.S. i just joined in 2011. did those xmas gears that were up during xmas have different lv counterparts before? :0

Yep. Holiday items from DotD this year were all levels in the prior Winter Festival.
