Posting how much gold you have, could potentially attrackt scammers and/or beggars. It can also make people envy you. And basically anybody can post any amount. I've known some so called 'extremely rich' players, who in the end didn't have half of what they claimed to have.

Don't get me wrong, not trying to flame here or anything, I just don't see what good posting how much gold you have could possibly bring :)

There are some long time players out there who have over 50 million in gold and equipment...I, however, am not one of them. I tend to give away gold and equipment every once in a while just to help people. (I only give away to people who don't ask me for anything.....) So currently I have less than 5 million total across my alts....

I won't post my worth here for one reason only. My friends will confirm this as well. I have been
scammed a few times saddly thinking I was helping out a friend and I don't like leeches which might
be attracted by this. I have been there before and it made my game play sad. I found happiness and joy
with some great friends and an awsome guild. Nuff said.

Maybe its just me, but I've never rly understood why its such a big deal to say how much gold you have. When I'm in cs in my crafted gear ppl will beg regardless. With that said, I'd guess I'm probably just under 20 mil. Gold and gear.

most gold was made by 51 farm in the old sewer days (selling f.e. orange flushers bracer L51 for 80k....) and in nuri selling craft material and pinks. its always easier and easier making millions than like ao2/3 times where u was superrich with just 10mil.
i stoped farming 2 months ago, just doing daily quests and PVP now, no need for more gold for a long time :)
