Hello

I haven't been able to find a solution for this, so i came up with my own.
But before making the whole tutorial, i would like to know how many people have this problem?
If you can't connect, here's a temporary fix to see if this solves your problem;

Of course, you will be needing a stable internet connection, if you know that you have that, proceed;

Alright, first thing to do, open process manager (CTRL+SHIFT+ESC), choose tab processes;

Have chrome opened at this moment!
Find explorer.exe, and close it;

Notice how explorer have been closed, desktop will not be visible anymore at this moment neither the start menu

Don't panic at this moment, it's allright. Press alt+tab until u find chrome, try opening the game now. You should be able to login without any problems now.
If this works for you, post a comment so that i can put up the second part of the tutorial, which is fixing the problem without having to do the explorer trick;
To open explorer again, choose the programs tab, click new job and type in "explorer";

and everything is back to normal :)

Remember, if this worked for you, post a comment, no reason for writing the next part of the tutorial if no one is going to use it :)

Hi xabdullahx,

I'm not sure why force closing Windows Explorer would allow Chrome to successfully connect to the game server. That sounds more like a mis-configuration or problem with your machine than anything else to me. Or perhaps it's doing something with the built in Windows firewall when you're doing that? Of course, I'm not a tech wiz, so it would be interesting to hear if anyone else has input on the issue.

Hi

I know what you mean, i was surprised too. But my discovery is not based on pure luck, i've been trying to figure this problem out for 4 days now, i also asked your live chat support, they told me that it's because i live in Denmark and there is a connectivity problem.
But i wouldn't believe it because it didn't seem as a connectivty problem. I am a certified ccna student and i know what it means to not be able to connect.

Basically, i've tried everything, netstat -o in the command prompt to see if there would be any other programs using the port, i thought that it might be a problem with another program blocking it's connectivity, i've tried looking at what your game is doing to my system, thought it might be a privilage error, even though i am administrator, it might be a virus causing some kind of a limited privilage, but it's not (or it might). Anyhow, starting up in safe mode would obviously not work because the graphic drivers would not load either, so i tried setting up a virtual machine on my machine, with a fresh windows install, suprisingly, it worked without a hassle and with an awesome ping. I was certain that it wasn't because: "We had reports from people who live in denmark using your ISP (Yousee) that they cant connect" as your support told me.

Sorry for my bad grammar, but i hope you got my point :)

But now, let's just see if anyone have had the same problem, fixing it with my solution :)

i have the same issue. this workaround actually worked for me. but kinda hassle with the explorer turned off.
also, i tried turning explorer.exe back on while i'm in-game... i get disconnected.
can you please post the 2nd part? :smile:
