What's the nicest gift anyone ever gave you in game?
Mine was a BAT WING that was worth about 350,000 gold at the time. It was given to me by someone I didn't even know! I was simply helping a group that was about 12 levels lower than me when one of the players private messaged me "why are you helping us?" I replied "for fun" then he gave me the wing. When I asked him why he was giving me such a valuable item he said... "for fun" :-)
That players name is Athor and is now one of my fave PL friends.
I also had several random friends give me special items when I made 66!

Ive gotten like 4m and 3m in items from a friend who quit..and ive gotten a guild and 2m and a bunch of pinks from another friend who quit
A friend gave me rift and cosmos gear before he went MIA...:dispirited:

Noobmigo gave me a voodoo robe right after it dropped to him when he was helping me level my voodoo, i miss migo :(

Ladylove: She will be SORELY missed. She gave me her most prized possession, a purple L20 Halloween Doll back when it was worth 3m+. One of the rarest items in PL. Even to this day, when Halloween items came back (WAS NOT EXPECTING THAT), I kept it through the price crash. It is a token I'll remember her by.
TheLoneArcher: Gave me 4M through LadyLove when he got banned. (She was his financial manager at the time.) This guy taught me how to PvP, much respect for him.
Rosettes: Helped me farm my holiday items, saving me platinum. I will always appreciate it! :)
SuperLisa: Giving me 1M randomly, simply for being a close friend to her.
JoeyChandler: Giving me 2M when he quit. I miss our intellectual conversations about life and twinking.
Lucilulu: Been amazed with his genorisity, this guy just keeps giving and giving. Mainly gave to our guild, but his support was incredible!
I have much respect for all these players. (Not to say those who don't give me gifts don't have my respect! LOL! Would make me a gold ........, no? ;))
I have tried to give a lot of the generosity I've received back into the community, as I believe in the philosophy of "spreading the wealth". Not everybody has good karma, so you MAKE good karma for them. Seeing their reactions is well worth the few 100k worth of coins you just lost.
Anyways, there are probably many more, I just did not want it to seem like a bragging post, however, if by request, I can edit your name in! You all know who you are. :)

Well.. Only thing someone gave me is that a random dude came up to me and gave me a lvl 10 helmet... Well it happens a lot.

I like to give not to receive, so all my avatars have 'reject gifts' lol. :D
But I did receive stuffs in the very beginning back in 2010. Some nice bear gave me good purp gear from frozen maps to my bear.
End of the week, bought all the maps (we had to pay after dark forest for the maps before) :p

Had a guy give me a hax set. I was like huh? He told me he was quitting and I helped him out and gave him 50k when he started. I didn't even remember him. Nice guy though. :)

My oldest pl friend, when they quit the game, gave me everything. It made me cry at the time.
Another very good friend gave me my sanguine longbow. I am not naming either of you guys but you both know what you mean to me.

I tried to help a lone lvl. 19 archer to beat the Goblin King in their stronghold yesterday ... we couldn't slay him, you really need a party for that, it seems.
Anyway, he told me to empty some slots in my inventory and gave me a longsword and ironrock shield !!
Didn't even know you could make gifts ... how is it done (in game) ??

Ok, I'm gonna move this to sl for a sec, more props to Apollo for running Christmas dungeon with me on lvl 10s then after I ran out of plat without one drop giving me a level 10 pink rifle, which is worth a lot now, I presume, but no matter what, it stays in my inventory.

Well a real life close friend of mine who started playing back in December of 2010 and quit the following month just happen to stop by my house. Well take a long story short basically I was playing wow at the time and he was trying to get me to play but had no desire for any other mmo games at the time. Well I got into pl when there was nothing left to do in wow, all heroic mode completed up to fire land. Basically he came over and told me that's the game I was trying to get u into.. I was like wtf.. u still have an account ... sure enough recovered his pw and there was the gold mine of 2010 holiday items.. talking about his whole inventory full of pinks, purple, greens 2010 holidays. So yeah that's my story..

Best gift I ever got was the friendship of a lot of great people. 2nd Best gift I ever got was My guild. XplicitBear was leaving PL and turned over leadership to me. It was a very long time before I could look at bear with a panda face and not feel sad that it wasn't XplicitBear.
