You can now buy 15 different weapons and 15 different armor with iTunes for $0.99 each. Nice!

can these items be dropped from mobs? or just exclusive to cash payment?

Some of the items you can buy in iTunes are definitely better than the ones you can buy with gold. A level 15 weapon, Croc's Blade of Darkness, is about equal to a level 27 weapon you can buy with gold. The Nature Chain armors in iTunes are the only armor I have seen thus far that gives you added H/s.

I don't know if they still drop from mobs, but I have an item I got off of a mob earlier in the week that is one that is selling in the store for money.

Same, they are selling 'Burglars Fiery armour and Robbers fiery armour' and I found both of them in Dark Forest.
