I stopped PvPing seriously after Sewer Ages, so my mage is done mostly.
I do remember 5-10ing Kanital with a Pure INT Staff Set- Enchanted during Sewer times.
And I one-shot him twice, so 7-10 was the final score, but one-shots with Heart Drain aren't exactly fair:/
It was a 527 crit I think.

Amd I agree, kdr means nothing! That is not what makes someone pro or good. It can be an indication of greatness but it can also easily be faked and doctored.
There is one person in particular who always only plays on the side that is going to win, teams up with other people who are really good. They run away leaving their teamates to die thus saving themselves from a death at their expense to come in and clean up the scraps. Players who run clear across the map and or leave before death to come back refreshed. Ones that always grab the orb or team/rush/sneak.
My ctf kdr is still in the negative, yes.. But I am a team player that gladly sacrifices my self for the objective of ctf. Ctf isnt about kills, its about holding ground, and advancing. Ive only 8k kills and 8k deaths but ive 1k caps. Thats a pretty good ratio of success in capping which leads to winning.

First off, there is no such thing as a negative kdr XD... Just decimals. 9/10 is still .9 or 90%. And I've never had a kill/death ratio in the decimals in any of my characters o_O... But hey, would be fun to have a bounty ^_^... Would encourage rushing though D=

I'll have to disagree with this.
CTF isn't PvP.
They don't have a leaderboard for number of kills in CTF.
There IS NO 1v1 CTF map like PvP, there is only TEAM maps.
You work together as a team.
DTF is doing the right thing here, especially as a pally, as TANKING for her team to get the flag and win.
Although you may feel that "hiding behind a load of armor and dodge" may seem unfair, I do recall you playing as a warbird sometimes :>

K/D doesn't matter.
You could get a negative/decimal K/D just from FFAing against a lot of birds.
You can also get bad K/D ratios from PvPing without any gear.

I consider DTF a decent player in Pally, but maybe not a decent player in Pure Mage.
I can say that I suck at Pure Mage Wand and Pally(actually, I've never tried it:/).

I think both are good players, and at the same time both provide reasonable points. @ Trueplayer: I agree that you can play PL in a way that you see necessary, but you going off on DTF by saying that he has a noob-ish kill death ratio and saying that he isn't a good player is a bit mean. I'm not saying you have to love each other and freedom of speech is here for a reason, but please keep this clean. @ DTF: I would just simply avoid or ignore each other if you truly disagree with one another. I and many others have had people we don't agree with, which tends to lead to flame wars. All this does is make the game a burden to play because the fighting has made it no longer fun (Believe it or not, but I have an ignore list of 46 people, (All of them were from arguments...) who are mean and IMO out there to make people mad, and now that they're on ignore, this game is better than it could have ever been :) . ) Just have fun with this :) , because life is too short and in game arguments are almost never worth the stress.

i only ever played with dtf under the 55 cap but even then i still considered him a great pvper, and to come second as a pally is a great achievement especially because half the people in the tourney prolly had lilith wand set i consider that a very big achievement

But i can say i am a way better gm then he is, i give my members more freedom and just cause i am there leader dont give me the right tell them what to do. But i can say i am a way better gm then he is, i give my members more freedom and just cause i am there leader dont give me the right tell them what to do. Guys, I don't know how many times people need to reiterate that this is just a GAME. What is the ego boost from winning a flame war going to do? Brag about it to your friends, your significant other? I'm sure the majority of them don't care and are just being respectful by agreeing.
