PL Founders Group

The previous owner stopped playing due to personal issues, so I've taken ownership over the group. For a while, we've hid in the shadows, doing no activities and almost forgetting this was even a group. That's all about to change. I'm going to attempt to make this a very active group, but I can't do that alone. I'm not going to make membership limited to people with founder's helms (however, it is preferred). If your account is one year or older (anytime before march 2011), you're welcome to join (: We will have activities, contests, and many other fun things we can do. I intend to make us a very prominent group in the community. If you would like to join, just leave a comment here and feel free to join.

Let's make this the best group on the forums!

I appreciate the thought red, and I do agree. However, I received a message from more than person letting me know how much they want to join the group. I figure the more people we allow in, the more stuff we can do, am I right? It was a decision that took me a little while to make, but I think I'm doing what is best for all parties.

I completely agree. I think the members should be booted, and the group should only have those who are founders.

So what basis should we actually use to define what a founder is, besides someone who just started playing earlier than someone else? I see it that way.

It's your guild and its up to you how you'd like to runit. However keep in mind that when you choose such a controversial name such as "Founders," you're bound to make some people upset who actually are founders, like yourself.

Ok. This is not really my business but how about this for a solution to your guild dilemma.

The PL recognized Founders are all officers in the guild, basically they are the "Lords" and the other members of the guilds who are not "Founders" are simple members under the watchful and wise eye of the Founder and therefore are "Apprentices".

That would make everyone happy. Apprentices can become recruiter if they are voted in by the Founders (Officers) but may never become officers themselves. Also, this would end up being the only guild where rank has true meaning so would be pretty cool!

Being a founder myself, I say only founders should be a part of the group. We founded the game and most of us funded the game when it wasn't popular. It isn't fair for others to claim a title that doesn't represent them.
