I am having a ton of trouble beating the first lvl in mt fang :(... Our group always can clear mobs really easily, and then we can kill the vampire (just a close enough fight to make it fun :D) but when we get to the supervisor it ruins everything :(. He has almost unlimited hp. He can kill a pure str bear on one critical shot, and he has aoe attacks (easy enough to dodge, but still annoying if you can't make a dent in his hp...) does anyone have stratagey on how to beat him? I just can't find a way to do it...

When you see he starts charging his attack, run over 12m away from him. It's only way I found to beat him safely.

You need a level 66 or 65 bird to pierce his armor and 66 or 65 bear to take away the agro from him. Agro is what kills everyone n the bears taunt can neutralize it. Mages will keep the bear and birds hp up while they attack

Amazingly enough, he used be harder. He's been nuked. When we did him as level 58s, he took some work but he was not the most difficult. The first time I did him, we had a couple mages and a couple bears and he seemed easy. It was only later, with other groups, that it turned out he can be very difficult.
Try a group with at least 2 mages. Have the mages switch off between their shields, and also have them run away when he powers up. You will also want to use all your skills on him, preferably combos and megas. You can tank him as a bear if you maximize your shield and of course, run away from him when he does his attack. BTW, I don't think you have to go 12 m. I think it's 8m and as the bear, preferably with aggro, you'll generally want to run INTO the cul-de-sac, not out of it since that can reset him.
Your non-aggro'ing mages can use their shields and have one back up mage that CAN run outside the cul-de-sac. Just remember to generally not run too far and reset him since that's really annoying.
Try a different group if your original group cannot do it. I still see some groups that for some reason have trouble with him. Oh yeah, I've left groups that keep resetting him -- very annoying.
Stay alive and keep at him. He eventually dies. You'll see he's not the hardest boss, if you cannot stick to your technique. There are harder bosses on the next levels...

He can take a while if you lack dmg output in the group. Easiest is to kite him (stay just close enough to let your spells hit). This allows you to back up as far away as possible when he starts growling. As a mage, you shouldn't put up your magic shield unless you know you're not going to make it far enough.
He also growls in more or less the same time intervals, so once you know the 'rhythm', you can start backing up right before he growls.
I never noticed taunt canceled his attack out, as said here before. But then again, I didn't play the first lvl that often.

First thing, kill the minions 1st,...always...
And make sure u turn on your sound,...he is making a sound like gurgox,...he also glows red before he blasted, but his glow are sorta covered by mages fireworks, so sounds is the best clue...to run away....[mages HAS to stay away from this blast, always, just stay far and heal, buff and debuff ] yes, bear takes the aggro away, but bird and mages still could get hurt alot from his blast [esp when u dont use elix]....so run far, but not too far, coz when u passed the road turn, he usually resets.
Actually supervisor doofus is kinda like mini vlod....i think...:p well, less smokey version..good luck

I forgot about his difficulty if you have some high levels in your group. If you can, try to have everyone within a couple levels of each other to keep lofus' difficulty within range. Or the high level will need high damage and be able to tank.
His attack can be stopped. I thought it was by stunning him, but it could be something else. If you dance with him and stay alive, he eventually dies even if you solo him.
You will need to dance (back, then forward) later with another boss, so you might as well learn how to do it here. You'll also need to kite yet another boss, so again, prob learn this here. We did not really kite him though. Mostly the bears kept him near the back or middle. If you can time and/or survive his attack, you won't even need the mages.
And of course, you always get rid of the minions. You'll need to do this later also :p

If all his attacks are 12m.
Then.
1. Kill minions.
2. Buy RR crossbow.
3. Kite from 13m and troll him to death.
