I was thinking about new "super elite" maps with a portal that spawns in normal elite map, and has a chance to drop heroic versions of pets that come from the normal map as well as "super elite" chests that give a higher chance of looting mythic/arcane than normal elite chests. To make these difficult, the mobs would all be scaled to 3 levels above cap and dying in the zone would kick you out.
