Hey all,

I'm here today to report a problem with the new PvP, the PvP of honor.

So, some players are depriving some pvp rooms, and it was meant to be public, as everyone is able to join PvP and play whether he or she wants to play. The fact that some players think they are obligated to “own” a room is just not acceptable. It is not just them, but it is the whole community that is allowed to play.

I am unfortunately not obligated to mention IGN’s in the forums, but they don't let other players play normally, instead of being 4v4, it becomes just 2v2 (because they want to “vs”). They leave out of the 2v2 warriors who pull whoever tries to intervene in it. It's problematic, and it ends up ruining the pvp it should be for everyone to play. And sooner or later PvP becomes as dead as it is now a days.

So, you might hear the question coming up; STS is there a way to solve this?

PS: do not comment such things like “leave pvp” or “deal with it”, because that’s just unnecessary.

Thanks in advance! I am almost sure I am not the only one experiencing this.

I’d say your better off playing fire with fire, ask a tank or rogue friend to join you to back you up, sort of thing used to happen years ago with people claiming ctf rooms was “theirs” isn’t really a way to stop it unfortunate however nothing stopping you doing it back to teach em a lesson, it’s petty but some times that’s the only way people learn *facepalm*

I’ll even be returning finally in 7/8 days time, more than welcome to hit me up if you need a hand once I return ^.^

Yeah but I mean, they force you to sit, and if you disobey they block the room and start killing you. I meant it in that way. But yes like Baron said I also remember it from CTF

Similar to how flaggers claim ctf rooms as their own, very toxic

No. It's not. If me and my flag partner do the necessary steps to open the room and then flag for aps, its very unkind for a new joiner to just hop in and take a flag when told "Please sit, we are flagging. We were here first"

This is entirely different

There are no aps here atm, and even if there were there would be no reason to "claim the room as yours" unless hosting a private tourney amongst your guild/friends.

Joining a room and saying "sit we are 2v2ing" while the score is 0-0 and such, directly interfering with others game play & preventing others from learning is literally the most toxic sort of sportsmanship in pvp.

Someone joins, kills the flaggers, flagger doesn't engage in a fight or talks back. Doesn't that prevent others from 'learning' aswell with your logic?

No difference at all. Both want the room to themselves for the sole purpose of playing without obstructions.

Those who make players sit simply want an organized fight.

STS cannot change the goodwill of people in PvP.

Anybody can do whatever they feel like.

If you are upset, leave the room and find another room.

Hey ya’ll. I agree this is very frustrating and not how the PvP experience should be. The devs have seen this feedback, so we can look into how to improve the experience. Thanks for making us aware!
