Was playing pokemon leaf green via an emulator for my phone and noticed the old man in front of the Celadon city gym, I got quite a kick out of this xD

That is actually a legitamate ROM of pokemon leaf green and I have the cartridge version of the game as well, he is there.

I am on an android device and got the emulator (which has a built in screenshot function) and rom gripper from the android market. To my knowledge, other than jailbreaking your ipod, it is not possible to get any pokemon games on an ipod touch.

I had the emerald, and 2 other versions of pokemon on android when "gamersgaming" was putting them on market without emulators sadly they were removed due to violations with nintendo. I can still download emerald on a froyo device but i have gingerbread, thus it will no.longer work. Whats the best way to download them? I have a htc rezound 2.3.4

The best legal way to download them is via rom gripper, like $1.99 for unlimited access to all GBA, GBColor, NES, SNES ROM'S (it used to be free but im certain nintendo had a fit about it, I was lucky enough to get it when it was still free :p). I will recommend Gameboid lite and GBCoid lite as the GBA and GBcolor emulators to use, unlimited saves, no ads, built in screenshot function, built in action replay/gameshark. One downside to playing the games on an emulator tho is I cannot do any trading/battling like you can with the cartridge games.

I used to have that rom in my iPhone by methods that I won't discuss to avoid getting this thread locked. There's no clean way to do it for iOS

What i meant was that ive only seen the way that u have to usb hook up to a computer. I am not rooted either and i dont plan on voiding my warranty. So im having difficulty understanding
