BONUS Preview | Summer Celebrations...with explosives!

Here at STS HQ and across the US, the beginning of July marks an important summer tradition: Celebrating the Fourth of July (Independence Day)! But, even for those that do not celebrate this holiday I think it's safe to say that many of us know the pure joy of playing with expolosives firecrackers!! Specifically, having Roman Candle battles outside with our friends.

As a little BONUS for this week in Arcane Legends, we've added some limited-run Legendary Weapons that are our nod to that explosive summer fun: Roman Candles.

For those that aren't familiar, Roman Candles consist of a long cardboard tube filled with small explosive shells. You light the candle and the shells shoot out the end--in whatever direction it is pointed. (SAFETY SPOILER: That should be UP and not AT people. ;)) But, luckily virtual fireworks can't hurt anyone so you're free to do what you want in Arlor!

Starting tomorrow, for 1 week (7/2-7/9), the new Locked Roman Holiday Crate will have a chance to drop from any Arlor boss. These crates contain one level-appropriate Legendary Roman Candle weapon for your class. There are 4 variations of each weapon and they exist for Levels 2, 5, 10, 15 and every 5 levels up to Level 75.

When I look at these weapons in the crate info tab on my lvl 5 it shows lvl 76. Would love to see the stats at 5.

If you're looking at the Mythic ones - they are all 76's. Look under the General tab and you will find the Legendary Roman Candle weapons for the appropriate (relative) level.

Mythic has a chance to stun and does a pretty consistent (though small) push on impact.

The mythics need a buff. I looted one earlier today, the stats are disappointing and well below 71 arcane. They should at least be buffed so they are only slightly below 71 arc in stats.

but then i realize it was like any other locked crate and almost as rare to drop those leg wep as arc weapon, i understand the mythic version should be rare but i think it would have been much more "4th of july" spirit if the leg wep would have drop lot more and be more accessible, but thats ok i still have thousands of firecrackers from chinese new year :D

It is really awsome but i think it is weird since staff doesnt has aoe effect, i think itis better being a gun than a staff. Just my opinion since it has bad damage for a staff even lower damage than guns. But if not, can it has aoe effect?

Can we have those Roman candle weapons as vanities ? The stats of the legendary Roman daggers are not that good and the mythic ones are very expensive. But I really liked the explosive thing when we shoot arrow.. So it would be good as vanity with those explosive effects
