Will bought maps for iPhone version sync with iPad?

Hi there,

I hope this is not a stupid question.

Because the App-Store for the iPad is not yet available in Germany, I won't be able to buy the maps until end of May (the in-app buying is connected with the app store).

So my question: If I buy the maps for the iPhone version of PL, will they work for the iPad as well once I sync the stuff with iTunes? To clarify: Will the maps be availabe for the *iPad* Version of PL (not just the iPhone version running on the iPad)?

If that's not possible, here comes the additional question: Has anybody *outside* US managed to get the extended maps?

Yes. I have an iPhone & iPad. Once you buy on one, it is available on all for that PL account.

Ahhh, of course! They are connected to the account NOT the device. My hangover must be heavier than I thought!
