I know and maybe thats why they keep trying but not all of them have the top notch equipment and when I see a mage really close by bosses's red zones at deep marsh or evg then I can't avoid facepalming.

Mages: Tanking - no (unless you don't have a tank and you have freakin tank stats); Damage - yes (it's first priority for all classes atm); Support - mostly no (support by clearing mobs fast instead since we have autopots for hp/mana plus wars with heal)

i have ran with warrior that dont even tank ... no taunt .. not horn ... they just ran to the front of the maps and start killing mobs and not wait for others ... says so much ...

Yes you can kill things regardless of year but that doesn't mean that you can't be supportive for the group.
Mage's skills , even the offensive ones have a supportive aspect to them , you can use a charged fireball to knockback small mobs and to reduce their hit chance by 25% and you can combo with wind or ice to keep them down for a longer period of time , or clock to perma stop some of them ( even Gobby at dm can be stopped with it which allows everyone to focus on mother instead) , there is also curse that helps increasing the damage enemies takes by 45% with full mastery as well as reducing the one they do by 10% And the all favourite ultimate energize that gives 65% faster recharge for skills.

Those are some of the exeptions in which people bought some high tier equipment and can tank and kill fast but not everyone has it and the ones that don't have it are the ones that still tries to tank/solo things and dies myserably , this post is directed to them although I also wish more warriors were doing their role better as well.

Yes but they still have higher armor/hp granted by their Primary stat/equipment and their offensive skills still can taunt enemies.


The developers themselfs made the class with the word "Support" in mind and I would personally like to see more of that in game although I don't mind if you people want to tank things from zones below Graveyard but the other two zones from above are different and requires team work (or high end gear) to succeed efficiently.

TigerMike I agree with you, too. I may tank alot as a mage, but I always support my team mates. Even if I tank, I still heal hp and mana, and keep shields up on my team.
