You can only breed LYD with LYD now to get another :( sorry bud! If you manage to get a rainbow, you can breed it with the LYD to get a rainbow egg.

Red, as you may have noticed I have two Rainbows :vD: if you really want 'em, try Seaweed and Firefly over and over again. It's an efficient combo, and how I got both Rainbows :vwub:

LYD is gone. It was taken off the game yesterday night.

Hate to double post, but flower and moss didnt work for me. A successful combo i found online was tree and moss. Maybe someone with a breeding island can try it.

Both my island and cave are occupied :( trying to breed my first moss

That is true, but if it fails you will have either a 12 or 14 hours waiting time.
While using the other combination it is 1, 10 or 12 hours if I am correct.

Data should be stored online and connected to your gamecenter account. I dl'd Dragonvale on my iPad first and when I got it on my iPhone later on, all my stuff was still there.

Bred my first moss dragon earlier today and leveled it to 10 right after just to try and breed clover. First attempt was a fail though, I think I'm ending up with my first tree dragon.

Sell them instead of placing them in a habitat. You don't have to keep them all lol.

As you level up, you gain access to dragon shrines. These special dragon shrines track every level 10 of a type of dragon. Once you have reached 50 level 10 dragons of that type (including sold dragons) you have the ability to level your dragons up to level 15. Most of mine are 11. Once you have 50 level 15 (including sold level 15's) of a type of dragon, one or two of the level 15 dragons will gain a crown over its head.

The best way of doing this is breeding panlongs over and over, getting them to ten each time. You knock out four elements like that. It's expensive though. Getting a dragon from 1-10 costs about 12k food, which in turn costs about 500k if you grow the sarjin peppers (only take 1min to grow) on an upgraded food farm.

Ah. I've been using moss and tree, like a fool :mad: The Panlong is a reclusive little dragon, isn't it? When all these seasonals are done, ima breed a second Panlong :chuncky:

same here :( i stopped trying with tree. Everyone's saying that moss has to be part of the combo. Moss and tree has a low success rate, so I keep trying moss and poison/flower. I have two mosses on each breeding thing, so when I fail, I fail twice as hard -_-

After a few failed attempts at a second clover, I've decided to stick with one. The dragons not that great to want to breed multiples. My earth habitats are all occupied by panlongs, plant habitats cap at 500G, so more than one clover for me is pointless.

I have 50 sitting around and thought the same thing haha. So I thought, "why not?".
I looked at the rare island before the 2 hrs of redesigning, and realized how idiotic and wasteful having 7 rainbow habitats is haha. I might have to sell one more, or just keep it at the hibernation cave (crap, I should've just done that in the first place...) to make enough habitats to have all the dragons.

It shouldnt be that bad. The metal dragon is the base, and the other dragons are hybrids of metal, so it should be as simple as breeding metal with other elements. Metal should be like air, as in being bred through two existing elements, but they might make it rare.. I'm guessing maybe earth and air? But it would need to be an earth hybrid since air and earth aren't compatible.

I sure hope not, I've been trying for sandstorm for days now -___-

There's also word of a lichen and cactus dragons, which would obviously be plant hybrids.

The metal dragons have a horrid earning rate :( I have them all now except for the cold hybrid (its in the process), and I'm in the process of getting the cactus dragon, then I'm going for lichen. The metal earning rates suck, but not their selling price ;) so instead of depending on collecting from their habitats, breed and resell. The metal earth hybrid has the shortest inc. time, 4hrs, so breed hatch sell. 1.5 mil each.

Or, you could do that with cactus for 100k per hr (30 min inc. time)

I really hope the metal earning rates are a bug lol. Even with the right boosts, it doesn't go over 30'ish at level 10 -.-.

IMO, they look like crud. The only decent one is maybe Magnetic. Chrome looks like a fish with wings. Brass and Rust are OK...Metal itself looks like a T. Rex, Mine looks like an old grandpa, and Iron is just...boring.
