There's a brand new event in Arcane Legends this week, and we're encouraging you to party hard! But be careful, there's a party crasher lurking in Arlor and he may have his eyes on your rocking shindig if it gets too rowdy.

Here's how the House Party Event works:

Gather 20 or more of your friends and guild mates in your house (guild halls don't count) for a party! You get to decide what to do at this party. :) It's just the number of people that counts.

A realm-wide broadcast message saying "The Party Crasher is looking for a party to crash" will appear a few minutes before "Blotto" spawns!

If you have 20+ people in your house immediately after this message displays (approximately 5 minutes), it's party time! When Blotto the Troll arrives, team up with your party goers to slay the party pooper before he smashes your favorite vase!

Once slain, Blotto has a chance to drop gold and some of the many furniture items he's knicked from other parties. Both hosts and their guests can pick up the loot. These include some brand new items like the Black Arcanite room divider and Blotto's locked crates. These creates have a chance to drop the Deluxe Lounge Coat, Briar Pipe vanities, and Level 76 Arcane Belts!

Consider shorter spawn times and something for the guests to loot exclusively. With this setup, its like there isn't even an event. Unless the boss drops large amounts of gold(which to the contrary, is getting really boring). Hopefully he has some durability also.

Ohhh very interesting event !!! However, it seems that the owner and their spouse only benefit in this event. Perhaps you guys could add the locked from the store so everybody can loot the belt and other stuffs.

20 People is too big of a number, considering a lot of new people probably have not built a friends list, or don’t have 20 people on line at the same time. Same applies for guilds.

How about make this in Guild House not player house then 10+Players are required every hour to summon the boss. Change the owner and spouse gettiing the chance to get that extra item. Getting 20 players to join you is hard knowing you and spouse will a chance to get the extra item. Lower the time 30mins or 15mins make it an EVENT. Not just "hey lets release this event and an arcane item so we can earn" your events are getting more focus on plat not in the event itself "thats what i heard from the players that has been loyal to your game for the past years"

This shouldn't be bcos now everyone will try to host the party at their own house and since only the host and their spouses will have the most advantage, it will be hard to accumulate 20 people. I'm pretty disappointed first why is this event hourly that's already a red flag unless it's a world boss where you can join with 100+ people or something second 20 people a house, why the're a lot of people who don't even make friends or are in a good guild with a lot active players (myself included because i only do daily and almost don't communicate and if i make friends those people stop playing after a week) and why make only the house owner available to drop that belt people are greedy the most won't join because they want the belt by themself, like why would someone play a lvl where only 1 or 2 persons get all the good loot while you get max 5k and some house items or something like that, they can make a way better community event than this. This is really weak and sad.

I hope this is not some test for whether a future World Boss kind of map is a good idea, because this is not the right way to test this tbh. A Real Map, Random/Team join, with equal drops for everyone is how you would do a test like this.

Hello all this event sounds fun I do miss the old jarl event what needed energy however this is a interesting concept if anyone needs a house to party at do /visit itemstore or any of the houses on homeshow that way your likely to get into a 20 people + party also would exspect a very large amount of drops considering one drop per hour and we would like it to be worth wile [emoji106] but it is a good idea ovessly there will be some teething at the start of event but I'm sure it will be tweaked as we go along.

We all beat the gate-crashing monster to a pulp and all the stuff he stole from some other poor sod's party we get to keep including as a bonus, maybe a belt but only the married couple gets the chance of a belt?

I'm sorry but I'll give this one a miss. I did do quite a few pirate event runs and need a rest. Looking for twenty guests who'll be willing to stay in my house, let alone getting married in-game isn't possible.

I do not like the idea that only the spouse and homeowner can loot the belts. How r u gonna convince 20 ppl to help you and ur spouse loot belts while they don’t even have a chance to loot it. A lot of ppl will want the party at their house and then we won’t have enough ppl.

I have another question: - how are you gonna stop people from marrying their own alt toons on other accounts to have bigger chance for loot. Once again, please consider removing the marriage privilege to avoid the possibilities of abuse of this system. Also, please think about the kids that are 12-13-14 years of age, they should not be put into the thoughts to start dating/marrying and possibly be dragged into drama.

Giving the "host" a privilege to loot extra special items is not fair too. Nobody can actually promise they will attend your party if you attended theirs. Maybe limit the drop of special items per boss, instead of giving privileges to hosts/spouses or whatever :) Saying this with all best intentions, apologies if it was said before, don't have time to read 6 pages atm :D

Yes exactly.. Marrying isn't a problem. We can get married to anyone, but why will 20 people come to our party, knowing that they won't loot anything good. Or why we will go to a couple's party, knowing that we can't loot the special items and only the host and spouse will benefit.. It doesn't make sense.. The only way to balance this is to either lower the people to 3 or 4 from 20 or remove the special loot advantage from host,spouse and make it equal for everyone

Mkay I waited and played, well mostly waited for ppl or looked for an open house. 20 ppl still too many imo and 5 min to get em together too short. For an ugly wall piece that doesn’t match any house. The gold drops are uninteresting to me. A few suggestion.

1. Lower minimum to spawn to 8 or 10 people. This way more can participate.

2. Increase amount of gold drop and item drops the more people who join. Incentive to invite more people.

3. Allow all present a chance at the good loot.

4. Reduce spawn time to every 20 or 30 minutes.

5. Allow spawn chance in guild hall with guild hall items possible too.

Just a few suggestions.

earlier one i critics and doubt this event bfore its even start...my apologise...tbh,its not that bad as its drop decent gold...n drop rate of halo n floor to the host also not bad(eventhough havent loot any yet) which make it cheaper n affordable to many plyer....1hrs duration is very nice..bfore this,thought that we need to wait for an hours...but my misunderstanding....gathering 20 plyer is hard...i able to host n gather 1 time thanks to guildmate (C.O.F) and some friend...its so memorable if u r able to host one...for those that dont have active guild or friend,its not bad to join other plyer rndomly..just go to traveler outpost or any city...there will be someone that always inv random plyer...just type /v ( put host ign) to visit...Thanks sts and all dev...looking forward for many great event n updte... :)

I'm lucky to be in a guild that caters for all it's members judging by some of the comments here.
Everyone gets their turn for hosting, whatever level and whatever house.
The members get their name put up on motd and our gm and officers make sure nobody is left out. In fact our gm hasn't even had his turn for hosting yet.
So why don't all guilds do the same? It's not the devs fault if people aren't using common sense, fair play and effiency.
If you don't belong to a guild, wait in a city half an hour before party crasher is due and you'll get an invite.
I've only hosted once by the way. Oh, and don't look in show homes for a party.
