I have been playing on my main (a lv 62 int bear) and I have noticed that there are a big lack of average items in mount fang. I think this is a big problem for casual players who don't have farmers/merchants to give them profit. I have a friend (a lv 61 bird) who was pretty good when we used to lv up in nuris together, but now he is one of the worst characters in the team when we join because he can't afford the nice equips. I have also noticed that the greens and browns in fang are pretty crappy. In some of the lower lv campaigns you could pick up any old item and you could be at least o.k. with it, but here in fang you need pinks.

P.s. I know there are those cheap green platinum items in the store(I love them :D), but a lot of players don't use platinum and it's very hard for them to lv up and help thier teams.

Thats why people should merchant and save gold...

That is probably because fang was originally designed to be an Elite level like the Shadow caves but later made into a main spine level due to low traffic and usage in other elite levels...

People use Nuri's items to good results. Your friend should use the Nuri's items he's farmed, along with whatever drops he's getting in Fang.

There aren't many good items you can drop that are usable in Fang. That's for sure. But they do drop frequency and do provide a decent amount of liquidations value. Maybe the gold value is not equivalent to someplace like plasma pyramid, but sure is better than the sewers were (no drops except from boss/miniboss).

Me personally, on my bear I use crafted orlok. But for my bird and mage I am still using gear from Nuris (Demonic). The Nuri uncrafted gear is still very cheap and is still usable. Granted, it will be a little more difficult in fang than with fang gear, but its still very doable. That is what I would recommend.

Also, fang pinks that are not part of sets are pretty cheap and still pretty good.

yeah, if you can't afford pink vampyr items then something is wrong. haha. Fang and of the dead equips are the same way.

Vampyr stuff is pretty cheap, it would be cool tho to add quested sets also make the mobs only drops the trash items, and make the bosses drop decent items like in the sewers
