About 3 hours ago my 2 best friends were driving to the basketball game. (They were cheerleaders.) Last night was a snow storm. They lost control of the car and flipped over the barrier on the highway and were hit by a semi. They both died..

Like seriously, what else can go wrong in my life.. I wish it was me instead of them..

Wow... I fell so terrible for you right now.. :( Everybody goes through watching a loved one pass, and I know how horrible that feeling is, for you to lose two best friends is one of the worst things I could ever imagine, and I hope you can manage to get over such a tragic loss. May both of them reach heavens gates and watch over you forever :(

I'm sorry for your loss, it's always such a shame when someone passes away at a young age.
Back in high school one of my volleyball teammate and a very good friend died of pneumonia at the age of 15, he was always so cheerful with always the biggest smile in the room, and always showed such great sportsmanship, he was even in the national swimming then. To say the least, I was shocked to learn of his passing, and till this day, I wonder what would have been of his future. But we can only mourn for so long. Remember to remember not only their deaths but the great memories you have shared with them, they are the greatest things you can hold onto; unlike our lives, immortal and eternal. It's all right to smile back to all those memories (:
Life sometimes works in mysterious ways, confusing and sometimes it seems as if the whole world is against you. But remember, its a big world, there are so many others who are feeling the same way you do may it be your friends/the deceased's family members. Share your memories with them, and don't beat yourself down
You have my deepest sympathy Artemis

Lyric, I'm truly sorry about your loss. I have experienced something similar in my life as well. All I can say is, remember them by the fond moments you shared together. I know that it's going to sound cliche, but time and spending time with people you care about will really help take this emotional burden off of your shoulders.

Take care and send me a PM if you need anything.

Cheer Up!

I'm sorry to hear that Lyric. It sounds like a freak accident the way you described it, sadly these freak accidents snuff out young lives with plenty of time to live fairly frequently.

I wish it was me instead of them..
As sad as you may be, never say these things. I know you feel terrible right now but you still have a full life to live. Think about all the fun times you had with your friends, it will help a lot.

I'll pray for your friends, feel better k? <3

I"m so sorry for your loss. The unfortunate thing about life is you never know when it's your time to go. Keep in your heart their memory and the good times you had, and try to stay strong.
