you no longer pick your character from a selection of classes, but instead use a specialisation tree to choose how your blood sucker will fight.

this really caught my attention. I can't wait to see this games layout!

Well it helps because, ppl like to crosstrain there toons....like PL
like ATM SL Engineers or Ops cant train to use commando stuff

Come to think of it.. This "skill tree" will promote different skill sets, you could be like a tank healer I guess lol :-/ I'm really looking forward to see how this works..

Correct...I love my engineer for SL...but i would like him to have double guns. :p this will bring PVP to a whole new ball game. (EG: OPS/Engineer combo...switch armors at will ect...)
If this really gets positive reviews I can see SL/PL get these changes....Bring ppl back to both games

What ppl knew about PVP, would change...New tournaments will be made..... not like i would compete anyway lol

I was thinking the samething Ghost. Ive always loved skill trees really let's you customize your toon. And if they do bring this to PL/SL that would be awesome.

I see your point, but with DL, STS is moving into a new direction. The best example i can give that you can agree with, is that what changes made in SL were transfered to PL. So in essence if Dl has a blending of classes, it will be brought to the old games because ppl will be expecting/hopeing for that (only if it works well lol)...but the same is true with feedback...if it works better than the old system, then I say incorporate it :p DL or any update STS comes out with is with us in mind.

The goal is to keeping bring ppl back for new content. and to keep our friends here with us.
