~85% effective

But you'll want more than that for when you get debuffed.

Kinda off topic but higher hit% = lower opponent dodge%

Is this true?

I don't think so...if you attack someone in pvp and it says "dodge" over thier head it won't say "miss" over your head so I'm pretty sure they are not related.

Just not sure- i had a royal sewer/raid combo bird getting over 50% dodge when buffed, against an rr mage i was consistanly dodging about 20% and he never used nightmare

Hit% cap is around 85% for auto-attack only, skill dmg doesn't have a cap.

Dodge is a separate roll, and is a number independed of hit%.

It goes something like this:
1. Do you hit: yes/no (if hit=no, 'miss' will be displayed)
2. If hit = yes, then: Does enemy dodge: yes/no (if dodge= yes, 'dodge' will be displayed
3. If dodge is no: Do you crit: yes/no
...

Dodge is more likely to dodge your opponent attacks and hit% is for you more likely to hit your opponent.
