Hey guys, this is my second guide for Star Legends, not Pocket Legends. If you want to see my successful Pocket Legends guide, visit this link:

http://www.spacetimestudios.com/showthread.php?46800-quot-A-Pocket-Legends-Guide-by-Skeletonlord-quot

Anyway, lets get back to Star Legends. Star Legends is the second installment of MMO-style games released in 2011 for ios, Android, and google chrome. Follow these links to take you to a chrome guide on how to play Pocket Legends and Star legends.

For Pocket Legends- http://www.spacetimestudios.com/showthread.php?43856-How-to-play-Pocket-Legends-on-the-Chrome-Browser

For Star Legends- http://www.spacetimestudios.com/showthread.php?40841-How-to-play-Star-Legends-on-Chrome

1. The classes

Like Pocket legends, every Spacetime Studios game will have classes in them, but with an exception For Dark legends, which you can find out more about here:

http://www.spacetimestudios.com/forumdisplay.php?62-DL-General-Discussion

The classes for Star Legends are the Engineer, Commando and Operative. They also have different skills.
You can customise these with hair styles and hair colours, and male or female option. Apon creating your character, you will get the option to buy a premium character. This can be brought for 30 platinum, which will describe in more detail later on. The premium character is a great way if you are stuck. It comes with many benefits, such as 1000 potions, 1,500 gold, and a armour set. It is worth over 30 platinum if brought separately. Don't worry, you can buy the premium character up to level 5.

Each class can interact with its environment also. For example, there are doors in levels which specific classes open. Each class has a purpose, the commando is the tank in the group, like the warrior in Pocket Legends, the engineer is the support specialist, and deals with healing and keeping the group alive, like the mage, and finally the operative, the damage class, which takes hits in order to survive the team, so a role like the engineer.

2. The Equipment

Each class uses different equipment, gear for some people. These range from helms, weapons, armor and shields. Vanities can also be got via developers. All credit to Lwmark for his guide about dev vanities:

http://www.spacetimestudios.com/showthread.php?48463-LwMark-s-Guide-All-About-Collecting-Dev-Unique-Vanities-!&highlight=guide+vanities

Helmets fit on your head. The dev vanity for this are antennas, and more infomation can be found by visiting the link above. Weapons can be dual wielded, meaning that one weapon can be used at the same time as another, and range from pistols up. The pistol is the basic weapon in this case. Armor is used to protect your body, rather than your head. Finally, the shields. Weapons are used on your left side, and shields on your left. Shields are very limited in Star Legends, and are normally legendary if you find one.

3. The rarity of an item

Each item you find has a rarity, which is standard in pocket Legends and Star legends.

The rarities are as follows:

Trash- These are useless and there isnt any point having them at all. You might as well liquidate them.

Common- These are more rare than Trash, but still there isnt point having them.

Uncommon- Even Rarer than Trash and Common. These you may need in your inventory and they are half decent.

Rare- These you should definately keep in your inventory, as they will come in handy.

Epic- These are the second best rarity you can get. These are really important.

Legendary- Since these are the rarest item you can get, they are really really important to keep, as they are really expensive.

4. The Consignment Shoppe

The Consignment Shoppe is a market in which users post their items up for sale for others to buy. You would go up to the CS, found in the US Blackstar Town, and click on it. There are 2 tabs, "buy" and "Sell". If you are buying items you would click the buy tab, if you were selling, you would use the sell tab. *i will post a pic here later"."stay Tuned!*

When on the buy tab, you can select the item category, and its rarity. When you have found these, all you need to do is press "Search" or type in the name of the item in the box. In the sell tab, you will find your inventory. Select an item and choose an amount to sell and a time period. Hit "Sell".

Edit: That is the first stage of my guide done! Please comment and support me and add anything which i could add which would make it better! I will post all my updates here:

Edit: Updated "1. The classes" with infomation about premium characters. More to come!

Edit: Finished "1. The classes", and added "2. The Equipment" and "3. Rarity of an item".
STILL TO COME: "4. The Consignment Shoppe" *Cause you guys are awesome, here's "4. The Consignment Shoppe"

In the part 1. The classes section maybe u can add pics of the classes, tell new ppl u can upgrade toons to premium for an additional 30 plat and go into more detail there like whats the benifets of premium toons. And where u say u can customize ur toon with hair styles and hair color, u can also get facial expressions to for 5 plat.

Explain the purpose of each class like
Commando-tank
Operative- damage
Engineer- support

Maybe talk about the different types of doors each class can open,
The class unique weapon and its main use.

It wasn't made to please everybody. I had new players in mind when creating it, so don't worry if you know all of this. Tell me what you want me to change, and I will.

I think you should have typed the whole thing out on Microsoft Word or something and copy- pasted the guide here. It's a lot more efficient than slowly editing your post, over and over.

Wrong forum. This belongs in the players guide section.

You cant post in "Player Guides". You need to private message samhayne to move it for you.

If it is for new players, focus on the first and second campaign. I'd like to see more about gear. There really is a very limited amount of gear. We can list all the known gear for levels 1 to 5 and it would probably fit on the head of a pin. ;) You can point out that Flashguns are ops, grips are engies, and discuss the merits of the A-OK. Then we know that only certain gear drops at certain levels. That would be great information to have.

It's a decent guide and all, but I really think you didn't completely think through some areas of your guide. In the description of the Operative, you said that the Operative helps in taking hits to help the group survive. Considering Ops have the worst armour and health in the game, I'd say this statement is fairly incorrect and may confuse new players. A statement such as:

The Operative can reduce mobs and bosses to mincemeat in seconds, but really fail at taking hits. Expect to expend a lot of health stims.

Would be more correct and informative than what you are stating in your guide right now. I also think you should go more in- depth with rarities, as your points at the moment don't really tell a lot about how valuable they are. Maybe something like:

Legendary: Considering there's only 10 or so items with legendary rarity in the entire game, I'd say these items are fairly valuable. They can fetch hundreds of thousands of credits in the Auction Booth, which will discuss later. Of course, they have excellent stats as well.

A more in- depth overview of the Auction Booth would be nice, as well as expanding on your equipment section, as other posters have stated. But overall, it's a pretty nice guide atm. Can't wait until it's finished! :)
