I made a thread about this topic a while ago too, people had different points of view. Some some it is ok, others said it is not. At the end of the day only people that love making drama will pay attention to what you do.

It is allowed. But I dont think Paying for it would be allowed as thats something you do OUTSIDE the trade window which is against TOS.

I made a Forum post about this specific rule but no dev has actually replied.

Technically you can get ban for it i'm quite sure. ToS casts a wide net, so do so at your own risk.

Like kystones said, it's allowed but frown upon by actual pvpers. People gotta do what they gotta do for aps, and getting 10k kills the right way in inactive maps is next to impossible.

There was someone I saw in town once, s/he had 99,999k tdm or ctf kills and 666 deaths. That's not possible without dummy farming or paying someone to give you kills in pvp.

I think it's ok if you "exchange" kills with other player. Getting those aps is impossible nowadays.

It isn't bannable. Justg himself said so, although is frowned upon.

How would they know that someone sells if its kept confidential?

Also, one can use the "oh I'm just giving him gold" narrative as a facade and no one would know aswell.

With this, paying isn't bannable since it would only cause more work.. Applies to selling evasive boss spots aswell. They should've thought for possible unfixable problems before handing out those pvp kill aps.

Their ToS needs provisions or subsectors within those same old vague statements.

Also, Justg stated in a past thread that you wouldn't get banned. I mean clearly Devs are contradicting themselves.

My cent is that Rems post was vague as heck. Unfair advantage? cheating? to what extent? I mean if they mean in general then I'll be calling out all flaggers and those who jewel farmed before they fixed said "exploit" if they'll be banning dummy farmers.

Umhmm. Fair point made. Tbh the only thing that seems to be on their radar nowadays is plat offer abuse. Pretty much inaction for everything else, at least from my personal experience or of people I know. Either way the link was for the op to get some answer for his question however vague it may be xD

Devs aren't contradicting themselves, Rem isn't a dev.
Devs said it was "sad" but they're not banning for that in the past

It's allowed. Justg posted about it multiple times, i'm sure someone has it saved, I lost the link though and finding stuff on the forums is hard. You won't be banned for it. I have my own opinions on it but that's irrelevant.

Yeah its allowed. The reason it was so frowned upon in the past is because there was an LB and people would be able to get on there by cheating with dummies.

if your just doing it for AP's its fine . but if you are doing it to climb the leader board then it will get you banned . thats the reason PVP leader boards were removed years ago
