Is armored zhulong considered an arcanite pet that can help improve arcanite and volcanium spawns ?

It is arcane, not arcanite.

Last time we were told that arcane cupcake was considered arcanite and helpful with collecting materials, so maybe zhulong or armoured zhulong could be used?
Appreciate some clarity from a developer please. I think the aura is confusing folk.

Because zhulong recipe is from an "arcanite chest" , so zhulong could be an arcanite pet , meaning armored zhulong could be too , would appreciate it if devs could clarify ^^)

Best way to know if your pet is arcanite or not is with the egg icon:
