Merk the Jerk Quest

the quest is bugged I have killed him 7 times and the quest does not complete.
anyone else experiencing this?

Did you turn it back in to the quest giver? When you open your quest journal and tap on the quest, what does it say?

i tried going back to the quest giver and theres still a silver ? mark, and it still i see 0/1 on the quest

Likewise for me. Killing Merk the Jerk on level three of Balefort Castle didn't complete the quest for me either. Exactly how many times does Merk appear in this campaign? Maybe we're not killing the right one. Just a thought.
